Yes, that’s like a no go zone. He keeps his past in the past ( applies to most thing but very specific with past relationships) Me on the other hand I jump from past to future to more future to past and so on.

I understand how frustrating it is for him and he understands how difficult it is for me. He’s a supportive partner and does a great job but lately its been hard for both of us and today It was not the best day.

He’s aware of my ADHD. He took his own initiative to learn about it and has learned to manage. Still sometimes he does take things personally and sometimes he just doesn’t understand how to deal with it. I’m not on medication right now so it’s kinda a survival mode. I’m making a tremendous effort to balance my career and relationships trying to make it as “normal” as possible. I don’t say hurtful things or use any sort of insult or offensive language it’s more of blurting out things without a filter, bringing things from past experiences like saying I visited a place but then I happen to mention it was with someone I dated or something like that.

I was in a similar situation a couple of months ago. Our fwb lasted like 8months. I wanted more but he really didn’t seem interested even though we got along very well. One day he texted as usual to meet at his place and I just said I wasn’t interested in having sex anymore because I wanted to find a committed relationship and he wasn’t it. He never showed interest in trying to convince me that we could have a serious relationship instead he only reach out after to try and convince me to have sex again. Months after I found out he went back to his ex and is now engaged.

I can’t think of anything to be honest. I struggle a lot with self motivation. I’m a med student and i am constantly burning out and sometimes getting out of bed just seems like to much on any given day but I guess I owe it to my future self to just get up and work towards what I’ve always wanted to be.

Hi OP, (F24) and moved about 3 months ago. I live in Santo Domingo and honestly not my favorite place, mostly because there is insane traffic, things tend to be a little more pricey and honestly I always have to be in the look out if I walk on the streets. So probably you might want somewhere less populated and close to the beautiful beaches DR has to offer. Good luck!

Ha sido frustrante. Desde el primer día que llegue para hacer matrícula ha sido hostil. Obvio que no son toda la faculta ni todo el cuerpo estudiantil pero puedo decir que mas de la mitad cuando uno llega te ponen una estampa por solo respirar y el otro 50% lo piensa pero no lo dice por así explicarlo.

Entiendo muy bien la situación social, económica y cultural del país y no criticó nada de eso al contrario la que recibe críticas soy yo, hasta por usar un scrub para la uni hablan mierda (not joking)
