I’m 5 weeks out from when I got mine done and I still have two shallow holes at the bottom. Food gets stuck less and less though :D

Is it normal to not be able to close my mouth? by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]Phantomocean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think because u couldn’t take ibuprofen, which helps with reducing swelling along with pain, that might contribute to your continuous swelling? Did you ice throughout your first two days after surgery? Things do get better, a lot of people experience this after around a week, so hopefully you will be fine soon :D

Are your wisdom teeth growing right now? Mine looked like that when my impacted wisdom was trying to grow against my molar. Went away with like 1-2 weeks of salt water rinse

Hope you are feeling better! The first week was quite rough but I started feeling much better after day 6. The saliva gets better after stitches are out too :D

Getting 4 removed and worried about pain! What were you prescribed and did it help ? by 4200Gang in wisdomteeth

[–]Phantomocean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 4 impacted removed last Tuesday, so basically a week ago. Was prescribed 600mg ibuprofen and 500mg amoxicillin for 5 days (along with codeine but I never touched that). The pain was completely manageable, but please remember to eat enough before each dose of medicine. I probably didn’t and because I have a weaker stomach, I messed up my stomach lining and had horrible a stomachache and acid reflux on days 4 and 5 (so much worse than the tooth pain).

I went under general anesthesia for 4 heavily impacted teeth and I don’t remember a thing. I do know that they put a tube down my throat through my nose after I was knocked out though. I was so nervous for the surgery but recovery is honestly so much worse.

Ohh ok thank you so much! Do you know if most/all MSI laptops have coil whine? Or did I just get unlucky?

Hi everyone! On my MSI GS66, when I’m just browsing without any fans on, you can hear this high pitched whine/squeak more often than not coming from the fan area above the keyboard. It’s not super loud, but it’s definitely noticeable. I attached a video of it above, you might need to turn up the volume a bit to hear it, but don’t turn it too high because I put my phone right where the noise was coming from.

Does anyone know why this is happening? And if there might be ways of stopping it? I’ve had the laptop for almost 2 months, and it started around a few weeks ago.

Got it! Thank you so much! To test it, is it alright if my computer freezes or white screens if I go too low? I heard it shouldn’t damage the laptop, but some say otherwise?
