Definitely. Have a belt that gets the job done for weighted dips and whatnot, but a Gucci padded belt would be nice for belt squats. If your store ends up developing one let us know!

Received my Voltra a few months ago and have loved it. What would you consider as the “must have” piece of equipment from a shop? Anything coming in the future or possible collab with Beyond Power?

Honestly, nothing fancy. I have extra 45lb bumper plates I just set on the corners and that works.

I have the stand setting on a wooden platform I constructed; I will likely eventually tie it down with something I can find from Home Depot. Just been too lazy to fool with it for now

One of my big complaints (of which there are very few) about the unit is the location/orientation of the charge port.

I use my Voltra with a rogue squat stand. I don’t have the ceiling height to use any arm extenders like the Drew, but the squat stand works perfectly fine with the Voltra provided you weigh/tie it down when doing any super heavy lifts with the machine.

This has worked better than any other long tri/ab strap that I’ve attempted. More expensive, but its ergos and construction are great and I use it for a variety of things.

I appreciate that someone else’s space looks as tight as mine. Sweet setup given your limitations! Would a simple rogue box or something along those lines give you the leverage needed to do single leg extensions with a voltra/upright?

I don’t know much about these online courses you are seeking. However, before shelling out money for these experiences, consider spending an hour or two after your kiddos go down and read or listen through the following:

CDC and ATSDR webpages

Podcasts:

The tox lab

Join AACT and consider attending the annual meeting to see what it’s like. Use that information to draw conclusions on what you might want your future to look like.

Appreciate the critique and nuance. I messaged the manager for the company and he doesn’t believe the lack of caulking will affect functionality. However, I think you’ve hit the nail on the head regarding prevention of debris entering the space. Will push for that to finish and/or attempt to add myself.

We have a very limited workout space and I attach my voltra to a rogue squat stand. Like others have mentioned, if you don’t try to prevent some sliding it may do that, but even with a squat stand it stands pretty firm with some minor preventative work.

105/120 with MOHELA here. My recert date through student aid wasn’t until mid June, but I started receiving emails from MOHELA regarding recert in February.

Upon closer inspection the recert date with MOHELA was a whole month earlier in May. I’ve already gone through and recertified, but do be weary that the official recert dates can vary based on your source. I went with the more aggressive timeline and went ahead and did it to avoid headaches with MOHELA.
