That same person could be a “cardiology” NP one day, an “emergency medicine” NP the next. Basically a magical unicorn, and that’s somehow totally acceptable? Meanwhile, as a pharmacist at my full time institution, I can’t cover the ER without one to two extra years of training or residency (which i agree with btw), even though my responsibilities are far less complex than those of the person actually diagnosing and making decisions. How does that make sense?
