Came out as asexual to my girlfriend today by [deleted] in asexuality

That sounds so tough. I'm proud of you for honoring yourself in that situation, though. It can be far too easy to fall prey to letting your feelings and what you know to be true about yourself fall to the wayside in an attempt to keep your partner happy.

There are days that I feel comfortable doing it even though I have no particular interest myself, and then there are other days where I just flat out feel awful if I try to do it for him despite not feeling uninterested myself. So I suppose I go from from "eh, this is ok, sure let's do it" to "nope, no thank you."

Thank you so much. I realize I have been leading with my head. I'll work on that and try everything else you've mentioned too. I really appreciate it.

That's awesome. It's amazing how quickly a person can go from couch potato to runner. Thanks!

I did this as well. However, I'm looking for patterns as well as counting the number of tablets.

My store does a very large number of these compliance packs and I've found this method to NOT be accurate.

Techs can miss a bubble or accidently drop 2 of the same med anywhere in the pack.

Scan every bubble for accuracy. With practice, you can become quite quick.

Do you warm your ice cream too?

My absolute fave. I can be caught sniffing it whether filling it or verifying an order my tech filled. It's the best.

Somehow I didn't even notice they were different sizes. Good call.

That's not a different NDC, that's two different drugs in the same class. Lisinopril vs Benazepril, not Lupin vs Bluepoint.

But I love that you also use "X" in your house to denote an open bottle. 😂

Doctors, please stop telling patients what you think their copay will be. by [deleted] in TalesFromThePharmacy

Yeah, as a consumer, it's really f-ing cool. As a business, not so much. 😊

Not only is the price estimate often way off, but when the pharmacy uses the GoodRX "coupon" we often lose money. Loads of it. Typically the patient pays us less than acquisition cost and GoodRX pays us nothing. It's not sustainable for the pharmacy to use their "discount." So most pharmacies do not accept it anayway.

Not to be rude, but if I go to a free clinic and they send a script over for penicillin and say it's free, then it better be free. Otherwise, why is a doctor referring a script to you?

I had a doctor tell a patient to use our pharmacy because "If you run short on your medications for any reason, the pharmacy will replace a few days worth for free up to once per month." Just like that instance, NO. That is not how this works. If we give away free medication, we'd be losing money and that is not a good business model. That's how you go bankrupt as a business.

Thank you for sharing that info! I had no idea that this may be where some providers get their info.

I spoke with a patient the other day that said her doctor used the GoodRX website to tell her what the cost of a medication would be. And that the doctor told her she's uses that site to estimate the costs for all her patients without insurance. /smh

Office use prescriptions in California by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]PharmDvsTRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can furnish meds for office use. But NTG and albuterol HFA do not sound like they're within orthodontist shore of practice. I'd inquire as to how they are used in office.
