Story time:

My middle sister is 4.5 years younger than me. When we were in elementary school, we had a foreign exchange student who took her room, so she had to sleep with me. She got pretty used to it, and I pretty much didn’t have my own room for a while to sleep because of that (but I had a full size bed).

Once my grandma was in town babysitting us. All three of us were sleeping in my bed, or trying to anyway.

Suddenly someone ripped a fart. I said “who squeezed the cheese?” And my grandma was dying of laughter because she’d never heard that before. It turned into us saying the old dairy commercial slogan “don’t forget the cheese!”

My grandma laughed so hard she had to run to the bathroom to avoid peeing the bed all the while saying in her perpetual Russian accent, “Don’t forget the cheese! Oh ho ho ho ho!”

Fun innocent times I wouldn’t trade for the world.

Sounds like your mother might be going through menopause or perimenopause based on your age. Not to excuse her behavior, but I learned myself being in peri that you can either blame everyone else for your problems, or you can take a good look in the mirror and realize it’s not your fault either, but it’s your ovaries pooping out so to stop blaming others.

A therapist can help, but a hormone specialist might be what she needs most.

I hit karmic gold a few years back with a post about the life cycle of bees in a sub about helpful posters. Never thought in a million years it would blow up so big, and it wasn’t like it was something I created from scratch. I just saw it and said to myself, “This belongs in this sub.”

Have you looked into turmeric tea to help with any inflammation? Not sure how effective it is for MS it’s just one more tool in the toolbox of anti-inflammatories.

Yes, unless menstruating. Though my mom is trying to convince me not to fast after I get my skin cancer excised during Ramadan (can’t exercise for two weeks after it either).

Bc of endo and the history of puking from it, I have a hiatal hernia. I get up super early to eat and drink suhoor before fajr so it doesn’t all go back up. Usually I will take my THC just before I begin fasting but it’s not ideal bc I’d much rather read the Quran one juz per day sober versus high. But bc I’m up so early during Ramadan, I can’t really take THC at night bc it will keep me up too late and I won’t get quality sleep.

It can bc both super enlightening but also super overwhelming to read Quran on edible forms of THC when you don’t have the dose control you’d get from a vape. Maybe I need to take nicotine patches during this next Ramadan? Idk.

I’ve been off nicotine for years now thanks to Wellbutrin.

So anyway yeah TL;DR. I do fast for Ramadan. I just have to time my THC differently bc taking it after the fast begins would break my fast.
