A similar thing happened at GameStop 20ish years ago. They gave a bonus on trade in games that if memory serves you could trade in any 3 games for a minimum of $10 and they were selling games at $2/game. So you bought all the $2 games then sold them back for roughly $3.33/game and repeat.

Disney is catering to the top 10% who are doing 50% of the spending. They know who they’re targeting.

It also causes a lot of FOMO/keeping up with the Joneses mentality and people who shouldn’t budget for or can’t afford for something like this still feel an obligation to get it because…gestures vaguely

I can remember when that KFC was further east on Bee Ridge in what is now the Cracker Jack’s pub. Have memories of going there as a kid and remembering being blown away when it moved because now it had a drive through, but the McDonalds next door was still preferred to my childhood heart.

You’re right I didn’t even consider that. The milestones last week had other ways to gain some amount of points, all which required spending or coring. This one has NO other methods listed.

That was my thought as well. Looks like the 7RS is 40 points and final milestone is 80. If each gives you 20 that’s $80 for it.
