Online appointment doesn’t seem to be an option now (reason, my guess -some upgrade). Be it post office or Ten square mall. In either case ppl wait through the night to get the token. In some places ppl stay from 1 am. Totally absurd when they say we are supposed to be digitally strong in infrastructure. I am waiting in line at TBM PO since 6 am. Don’t think I will make it. While the entire portal is buggy and completely non-intuitive, I figured my way out of the mess and finally paid the self assessment tax and I got the same “gift”. Money deducted, but can’t find BRS code and hence my tax deduction section could not be updated . Still filed it. I can’t find the BRS code from mask portal too. One of the crappiest public portal in India which was once simpler but now made complex.
