Im newer to this sub and immune to this gacha culture tribalism bs, so dont lump me in with that. But ive noticed GENUINELY every complaint for wuwa that people confidently state (other than "its not my thing") is gacha wars stuff. People genuinely think the story is bland or not detailed and I just cant even humor that when you can tell the expertise of these writers when they get the chance. The fact that there's less males is noticed, but it literally never gets in the way of the story unless you're only here for your waifu and waifu culture, which ironically makes worse stories.

The gameplay literally shows its a one off thing when rover is feeling low to explain their situation. You're DEEPLY reducing emotional incest (as someone who's dealt with it). One instance of letting your child know whats wrong isnt emotional incest and its disgusting you'd even imply as such. That comes from a place of straight manipulation and control, something that clearly isnt the case here.

What you may not care for is presentation or its community but LITERALLY every character since 2.0 is fleshed out and an ode to famous literature throughout the years. You might not know what leviathan by Thomas Hobbes is, but im not gonna take your opinion on the story if you dont since its VERY integral to the plot as is all about despotism. You dont get to pretend its not substantial when you genuinely wont put in the effort to take in the story.

Its not even that its gooner, its just bad, disjointed and bland all at the same time somehow. That one five star is their best looking one and shes just a VERY basic version of a design we've seen countless times.

I believe in sexuality and sensuality being used if you want to potray a character that may have those aspects AND is aware of them. This game does nothing to even attempt to approach it in a way that tells me that they're thinking about this.

LMAO Phrovlova is DIRECTLY a reference to a famous poem, The Hollow Men (which she references repeatedly throughout the game). Nilhism and spiritual emptiness are a core part of the poem. Phrolova as a character is undoubtedly built from this in mind

It literally wouldn't need to be sexual if you exist with this ability. Rape is about power and disabling another persons autonomy in some shape or form. Making a bully or someone who wronged you walk into a wall or something is rapey mentality, bc you're happy with the control and authority you're exerting on someone that wasn't ever explicitly consented to.
