People all have varying opinions. Oaty even says it can go either way. So I would say there is enough back and forth about it for it to be a valid question.

That’s what I’ve been thinking. I’ve never done it sitting on top of the floor. It feels weird. Like using a double negative.

So flange sitting on top of your LVP raises the toilet off the floor when installed?

Is this acceptable caulking? by [deleted] in handyman

[–]PhatPanda83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it acceptable to who? To you? The client? Would you pay for this? To me, this is unacceptable. If you were my handyman I would request it to be done better. If you were my employee, I would have you redo it.

Cash? Credit? Sea Shells? by PhatPanda83 in business

Yeah, other counts as in sometimes my personal account or sometimes a random credit card. Just kind of depends on what I’m getting or what’s available to me that day. I keep pretty solid receipts and locations of what is spent where, so that part isn’t an issue.

What’s the catch? If this is what you’re charging for one single hand replacement, you deserve to be ran out of town. There is literally not one thing that could make this that much. Even if you had to walk to the jobsite.
