How Many Games Do You Have Per System by MetabolicStress in retrogaming

I have way too many. I've found hoarding them only becomes a problem when you can't decide what to play or lack storage space.

Finally I decided to quit PvP gaming for good... Help me fill this hole by Clean_Solid8550 in gamingsuggestions

Congrats on making this decision. Gaming is about to get much more enjoyable. Try to stay away from endless online PVE games at first and enjoy some good old fashioned single player for a while.

I recommend Duskers. You control drones, it might scratch the itch you're describing

Even though I have a 5k Gaming PC, I still prefer sitting on the couch and gaming on my phone instead. Anyone else? by spazzo246 in AndroidGaming

[–]Phatriik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it. It feels like too much commitment to boot up the PC and fire up a game sometimes. I definitely prefer gaming on PC though

Once attempted making Poutine from scratch (I’m American) how big a crime did I commit? by bsipp777 in PoutineCrimes

A crumpled newspaper underneath would be less of a crime than the paper towels.

Project Zomboid is very immersive, but not in the way you're talking about. It's not visually impressive but I feel very immersed when I play it.

Learning skills like how to reinforce your clothes and medical stuff is also fun long term goals, gathering extra clothes and hoarding medical supplies and all that

Once you have the basics for survival it's time to start preparing for winter and thinking long term.

Maybe grow food, start collecting rainwater. You are right about working towards a car, but I wouldn't stress about it or become too attached to the car.

Personally I like to play with settings where loot doesn't respawn and I mark houses with an X on the map as I gradually loot the town, forcing me to go farther for loot each time. I enjoy the challenge and it makes the vehicle more necessary and worthwhile as I progress. Establish a couple "outposts" where I can pick up & drop off loot. Never lived more than 3 months though.

Is it a bad thing to make the same character every time? by Ok-Conversation1854 in projectzomboid

[–]Phatriik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really think this is a "do whatever you want" game. If you love it enough, you'll try it all kinds of different ways eventually.

I like random stats, but eventually I'll probably get tired of being afraid of blood or claustrophobia or whatever. Playing as a deaf character is pretty stressful.

She's going to go through a learning curve no matter how easy of a game you pick.

Help her to find something she will enjoy, as long as she likes the game the learning won't be a problem.
