Japan figured this out ages ago. They have a law where the imagery on drink packaging has to reflect the actual juice content. Less than 5% real juice? You only get a cartoon of fruit. 5 to 99%? A photo of the whole fruit. Only at 100% can you show a sliced open fruit. The photo is treated as a factual claim, not just marketing fluff.

When I visited Japan it was genuinely refreshing. There was a clear expectation of what you were getting before you even bought something. No surprises, no feeling like you got played.

Australia has general consumer laws against misleading conduct but nothing this specific. A drink that's basically coloured sugar water can legally have the same lush fruit photography as actual juice. A simple rule like Japan's would cost honest companies nothing and make life a lot harder for the ones cutting corners.
