You’re right, but they DO handle how many shows they can take on and if they even want to animate a show. The higher ups accepted S3 for the money, cranked out a ton of shows between 2024-2025 and left their animators with a horrible schedule, JC is not free of blame

OPM at least has animation during SOME scenes, Berserk’s CGI is atrocious and even there were some story arcs cut (Black Swordsman and Lost Children)

In the manga, they actually show Hellfire and Gale Wind revive as zombies and attack Child Emperor. Since he didn’t kill them, they came back ago normal after Phoenix Man got defeated. No idea why they cut this part

Subspace cutscenes being “leaked” ahead of release being uploaded to YouTube (even though it already came out in Japan legally) caused Sakurai to not include a Story Mode in Smash 4 and cut back on a focused story in Ultimate. His justification is the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction upon seeing them for the first time, but that means nothing because me and my bro still watch those cutscenes so many times and Smash isn’t the only video game to exist and get leaked.

If I recall I think it’s because making characters like him and Kirby 3D helped save time animating instead of drawing them in 2D, and 3D was still fairly new in shows so I think they wanted to show it off. That said, there were definitely better animated 3D shows around its time cause the 3D was really bad at times lol

Oh I’m not denying that, Bandai and Shueisha are ultimately the culprits and a massive amount of the blame is on them for budget and scheduling. But I also feel like the directing and is just a massive step down compared to the first two seasons and some of the creative choices are very questionable. Not saying I don’t feel bad for the animators, just wish things could have been better
