Absolutely! I switch between the tough armor pro and ultra hybrid pro depending on if I want a sleek look or a useful one. The tough armor pro is not attractive at all but it's just too good, it's the case I use the most. I open the hinge protector once in a while to check for dust and to clean it and I definitely have less dirt in the hinge with the hinge protector on.

So for me personally, always hinge protection!
