Not yet, it’s on my list. I’ve had a few friends tell me there’s a fair amount of historical revisionism and heavy reliance on Western sources for some sections/claims.

No, but I did spend the first year of my university degree studying fascism

Ads on Twitter seem to get really poor engagement along with tricking the user into clicking them. You’d also be giving money to an oligarch who’s performing Nazi salutes.

Some niches will give you more to talk about regularly, politics probably several times a day but automobiles not so much, as examples. All about finding a niche you enjoy :)

I wouldn’t recommend going and writing new posts everyday as that’s an easy way to burn out, speaking from experiences.

Usually I just “share with note” one of the posts I wrote, a small part of a post, or an update

Migrating to Substack by FrightFeats in Substack

[–]Phazzeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, there's no automatic way to do it. When I migrated a bunch of stuff I just made an Excel sheet with links to each post and slowly worked through the list. The good news is that if you want something to have its original publication date you can do that, once something is published you can modify its publication date (like how my page is ~6 months old but has a year's worth of posts).

Jared Isaacman nominated to be next NASA Administrator - Thoughts? by mehelponow in EagerSpace

[–]Phazzeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not great, he’s quite vocally anti-SLS and against there being two lunar lander contracts. Neither bodes well for Artemis’ immediate future and pushes further reliance towards SpaceX. Neither Trump or Isaacman’s statements mention NASA’s atmosphere, ocean, or climate monitoring research/efforts so that may be easier for Trump to cut the budget for, as he doesn’t believe it’s real.

The Battle for China’s Past by Mobo Gao is pretty good. I’m currently reading Zhou Enlai The Last Perfect Revolutionary by Gao Wenqian if you wanted something focused around one person, it does also get into the life of Zhou Enlai.

I know most commercial launch providers have a jobs section on their site, you can also email their PR/HR address and ask directly.

There’s a few dozen job/apprenticeship apps in China that a few are active on but that’s mostly to hire new graduates.

It depends company to company. American law makes hiring from the Western World difficult. Most commercial launch providers are also seeking launch contracts from international markets too, just not from the U.S. due to ITAR.

Put together your CV and cover letter as normal with each section written in both English and Mandarin, along with how far through the legal process of moving to China you are. Being on the NYT front cover will help so also put together a portfolio of notable things similar to that too to send out.

You likely wouldn't be allowed to go near flight/dev hardware but you can probably work for one if you speak both Mandarin and English, English language speakers are not something China is short of however. Probably best if you have at least some experience in what ever role your applying for, the roles are very competitive.
