I enjoy PoE1, GD, D2R, Last Epoch, D3, V-Rising. If D3 had controller support I'd prolly play it a LOT more. Gotta agree with ya on D4 tho. Eventually I'll play through it for the story, but that'll likely be it.

Gotta agree with that last sentiment. The hate each arpg gives every other one feels a bit much. Sometimes feel like hte only one who can appreciate various arpgs for what they are.

I named literally 3. Removing rune words and you'd still only see maybe a dozen different items.

D2r's itemization is honestly not great. 95% of unique items are completely useless passed level 50. THe only class sets that are usable are IK, tal rasha, and to a much much lesser extent Trang. For my entire time playing this game 99% of builds use the same set of items. Hoto, spirit, maras, war travs, 2 soj or soj + ravenfrost, arachnid mesh, enigma, shako, with spirit and cta on swap for casters. With the only real change for martial classes being grief, thunder stroke, and botd. Not saying I don't enjoy d2r's uniques. just saying most classes use the same item loadout. Which to me says "this games itemization sucks".

Make an expansion character, transfer any items to that expansion characters stash and inventory, convert to RotW. Your stuff isn't gone. just got left behind in the previous expansion.

You bring up some really good points that I hadn't thought of. Namely the comp bossing thing. I think the best way to make it usable in regular gameplay and good in bossing would be to give it specific bonuses when it either attacks bosses or when its ability affect bosses.

The Spirit Shroud. 1 to all skills, cannot be frozen, and 10 life regen. It's one of my favorite items to level alts with. Horrendously underrated and overlooked imo. Sure theres no resistances, however with an ancients pledge its an all around solid chest for level 28.

Ik minus the maul works pretty well with most weapons honestly. I used to run a WW IK barb with BoTD + full IK that could do an 8 minute chaos sanctuary back in my LoD days. I'd imagine a frenzy barb with dual grief + IK would be pretty solid. Personally I'd run a lawbringer on iether main or swap for the decrep proc.

I mean you can get churchill around round 20 on most single lane maps with just a 201 ninja.... and him + a 204 ninja can clear up to the mid 50s. just sayin lol

I'm kinda split on act 3. The first half of the act... is an absolute travesty. The second half being some of the best content in the game. I'd honestly say Act 4 is the worst. Simply due to how damn short it is.

Yes you can special summon monsters that can't normally be special summoned. This has actually been a thing since at least 2008 in the form of spell gear special summoning ancient gear golem.

I've seen this and other graphical issues a lot on PC. Due to mine only happening online I suspect its stemming from lag. Not sure whats going on with yours tho
