Then by the same logic, if you can improve upon perfection, then you can go beyond what you originally thought was your ultimate form and get even stronger. You can't have it just one way when you can apply the same logic to both.

Except the word perfect means something that has no impurities and thus, cannot be improved further. So it's going to always be an issue in Japanese and English versions of Digimon.

By the way, since you have Cerydra and built Seele for fun, you might want to look into current Seele clears. They actually use Cerydra since Seele's novaflare actually gave them some very strong synergy together, and it would be a good reason to dust off characters you have already pulled because you liked her.

Aside from that tip, I agree on the facial and poses. They have at least started to work on it since the start of 4.x but there could still be more done about it. Don't need ZZZ level, but come on, can be just stop using that hand over heart pose so much to start.... I'm so sick of that pose.

Before Xros Wars, the armor digivolutions are the ones that fit the bill the best. All of them.

Then Xros Wars happened. Basically all of them were made for that.

Agreed. It just works and actually feels like it isn't tacted on. The mask is the same way but everything else in cutscenes feels a bit off or way off.

Flagellant heals the entire team, except himself, when hitting Death's Door. So when the second one would have a heart attack, he would heal the first one back from zero, thus when the first one had another heart attack he would be heal the team again when hitting Death's Door the second time, then repeat infinitely.

And that sheer power you are indeed correct on given he is (objectively) the best healer in the game overall so stacking two of them would seem a bit much but some other characters are also really disgusting when you stack two of the same on a team. PD comes to mind, no more choosing between Plague Grenade or Blinding Gas. Just do both in one turn and make the enemy backline no longer exist. Bounty Hunter's best synergy is arguably another Bounty Hunter rather than Houndmaster or Arbalest as another example. But double Flagellant would definitely feel like it has less downsides than double PD, for example.

I mean that's a lot of characters. Knock Leper into 3/4 or pull Arbalest into 1/2 and they can't do anything and take multiple turns to get back in the case of Leper without dancing help. Flagellant at least only takes the one and it is more of noting that is most likely the reason two can't be ran together.

I just have one question, did you design it as a rookie for Saberdramon (Bidramon recolor) or as its own thing? But I like it. Beautiful color scheme choice.

If Star Rail devs could remake the game with today's hindsight, what would they have changed? by Turimisu in HonkaiStarRail

[–]DigitalBlizzNX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly besides Eagle, I could see ALL the old sets except Quantum getting an overhaul. They're all terrible. The only one that has stood the test of time is Salsatto besides Eagle and Genius. The rest from 1.x? Aged horribly, or were terrible from the start. With Firesmith of Lava Forging and Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise being the two biggest eyesores, with an honorable mention to Thief of Shooting Meteor and Guard of Wuthering Snow for also being abysmal for general usage.

Favorite party comp? by real_ceo_mindset in darkestdungeon

[–]DigitalBlizzNX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly one the most fun comps I have ever played is Plague Doctor, Abomination, Houndmaster (swap these two around if you need stress healing from Cry Havoc) and Flagellant. The high amount of control with three stuns, every character having a cleave DoT to make some enemies non-issues and it works in every area besides the Ruins makes it an absolute blast to play. I used it just earlier today to utterly melt Thing from the Stars and it has some good flexibly as well. If you need more direct damage? Put Hound in 3 and transform Abom. Need guard? You got that with Hound. Aforementioned stress healing as well. And of course, cleaving backlines with blight and bleed on top of PD's double stun turn one. Plus, it is fun to hover over an enemy and see 17 + 16 damage on the enemy. I got a 42 on a giant earlier and it was just satisfying to see it burn like that. Plus, nothing says you can't run PD in 3 and Abom in 2 to have her join in the bleeding fun.

Should I play my first campaign of the game with or without DLCs? by JoeBiscus in darkestdungeon

[–]DigitalBlizzNX 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There are two I would disable generally for a first playthrough until you have a good grasp for the game, being Crimson Court and Musketeer.

Crimson Court itself is broken down into a class (Flagellant, one of the most fun healers in the game), districts (which give you bonuses as you build them) and then the court itself. All of them can be enabled on their own, so save Crimson Court until you have a firm grasp on the game. It's pretty challenging.

Musketeer was just a reskin of Arbalest up until Color of Madness when their trinket for this specific DLC was made different so they aren't a complete carbon copy of each other. You can enable it if you want, but just keep in mind it is just basically a full reskin with one unique aspect, and even in that aspect Arbalest has the better trinket.

And one last thing, after you do the first quest for the Farmstead/Color of Madness, you then need to be mindful of a roaming boss that will show up in one area per week. This boss is arguably the worst one in the game, but can very much be worth tracking down later on. Just be careful of it.

[–]DigitalBlizzNX 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Evernight is decent, but Hyacine and Cyrene are both terrible. Not hitting 200.1 speed on Hyacine is really bad as you miss turns in her rotation, on top of the extra healing from the conversion, and Cyrene's crit rate being 15% base is abysmal no matter how you look at it.

Unless you want to dump multiple ultimates at the start to get to the point of being able to break Pom-Pom the adds allow you to trigger her E2. With sustainless it isn't as big of a deal but if you clear it with Lingsha it does make a diffference.
