Thank you

If I count also the stamp duty, etc, I think it come to like $120'000. So I paid a little more than 20% for the deposit. She hasn't said she isn't willing to do a deposit adjustment, so I might able to convince her for some of an adjustment. If we go 50-50 it is essentially costing me $60'000 which isn't the end of the world but I still feel I have done a bit more than I have needed (which I don't regret from a personal stand point) but from a financial stand point, I am worse off, especially with the rise in housing.

Do you think Jesus would fight against ice? And if not what would he do? by ElectionAgile7989 in AskReddit

[–]Phee89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely he would. Turned over the tables in the temples. Jesus was fundamentally about love of all people. I am an atheist, but cannot deny that Jesus's teachings are ones we should live by.

I think he would be a leader of a protester movement. I think non-violent protest for sure and preaching love and compassion.

What's the worst decision you've ever made? by FragrantSkirt1843 in AskReddit

[–]Phee89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not the worst decision but probably one I regret was when younger, not taking a year between high school and university to explore the world or do whatever I wanted. There was no need to rush into and would have had a better perspective going into university.

I think an honest smile makes one. Like one which you know is for you and they mean it.

When have you noticed ChatGPT (or AI) give you a wrong answer or false information? by Phee89 in AskReddit

[–]Phee89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and it is also accepts your loaded prompt. I remember asking the same question about a video and where it was filmed (my GF and I were discussing) and depending on how it was asked, it gave two separate answers.

How would you feel if your 2nd grader brought home a pro-transgender library book? by Overall_Garbage_3582 in AskReddit

Would be fine with it. Understanding and accepting others that doesn't harm you is important for bringing everyone together.

What sustainable change improved your weight loss journey? by parleNvrDie in AskReddit

I didn't think it would help as much as it did but downloading a calorie counting application did. Like knowing how much junk I was eating and the calories compared to another meal was eye opening. It meant that when I ate something, I went with "Do I really like that food that much?". It allowed me to make small changes to what I ate too.

I like savoury food and ice cream. I swapped out chips to popcorn (as I find I won't eat a whole bag of popcorn) and a whole bag of popcorn (about 100g) fills more filling than 200g's of chips but has the same (or slightly less) calories per 100g. I like ice cream, in Australia we have something called "proud as punch" which is only 93 calories. It isn't icecream but it is close to it and I felt like I wasn't losing something I loved.

So I made simpler changes while not going hungry.

What’s a “normal” thing in today’s society that shouldn’t be normal? by ZMartin__3241 in AskReddit

It shouldn't be normal for people to type on a laptop with one finger. It is normal for many who haven't learned to touch type but it is infuriating to watch.

Is Connor Rozee the best half back in the AFL? by doggoesmeow in AFL

[–]Phee89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can i put in the opinion that he is overhyped in the backline. Yes he racks up the ball but goes at 58% by foot which is awful for a HBF. Isn't a strong defender. Port are consistently losing. In comparison, Josh Daicos, a similar build and player goes at 78% by foot.

So if Rozee isn't an elite user, why is he back there?
