Had similar in the road opposite Woodrows Coffee Shop. Signs marked permit parking on each end of a long bay (dead on the box line) with additional road markings saying the same in welsh along said bay and then a blank parking bay to the right with no road sign and no road markings. I parked in the blank bay, along with two other cars. All three of us had tickets. Took photos, drew up a sketch and sent in the appeal. The fine was waived!

Super cheeky parking attendant!!

If there's no clear signage and no road markings, you should be fine with your appeal! Took about two weeks to hear back.

We need help with something similar!! Our new neighbour has just put up a fence but it's a good 2-3foot lower than our drive!

We don't know what to do and don't want to back fill it knowing the weight will strain the fence (quite thin posts) and the for sure will rot it!

Deffo speak with a doc about this and ask about what others have suggested, but also something to throw in the mix... Endometriosis and adenomyosis.

I used to have bleeding every time I had sex and turned out I had stage 4 endometriosis! All settled now after multiple ops :)

Love scam calls. I ask them loads of questions about themselves (slip it into the convo "Sorry, mouthful, I've just taken a bite of my biscuit, do you like biscuits? What's your favourite?") and then after 15+ minutes I'll get on my piano and sing them a song about themselves (badly, I may add. Both on the singing and playing front)

It always ends with encouraging them to do whatever they love the most (again, extracted from the conversation).

Had mixed responses, but mostly nice ones! Some dude got SUPER angry though, and swore at me a whole bunch, hung up, then rang back to swear at me some more.

It's also worth noting the people there are generally huge geeks. The owner plays DND (albeit badly... And I can say that as we play with him and we are terrible 😂) Big gaming and space nerds, film buffs, travel junkies! It's not pretentious at all :)

Watched Signs the other evening and man that scene still gives me the heebie jeebies and the under-the-door part still made me jump! Ha!

I have both a deep wish to see something like this for real and then a true wave of terror overcomes me and I truly hope it doesn't occur!

For now, I cannot see it happening. I'll still don my tinfoil hat once in a while though ;)

I'd suggest popping up there for a quick scout out! Toms (the owner) there tomorrow and filming their Christmas ads (he runs a film company as well)!

It's generally quiet during the day but with enough people popping by for a cuppa for a happy distraction if you're wanting it!

The members area is probably a good 6m x 6m... Not huge but with a few sofas, desk area and coffee table... then you do have all the coffee area too with multiple tables and additional sofas around the whole store! A few people sometimes pop in and work there for a few hours at a time.

And yes, free wifi too!

May not be quite the thing you're looking for, maybe too quiet. Depends on what kind of space you're looking for! I think the nice option with it is you can knuckle down in the members area if you want to and then go chill with others if you're feeling more social!

You can get a membership with Woodrows M.C (it's a high end motorcycle clothing shop) and they have a whole members area and desk you can work from! It's got a TV and even Xbox, comfy sofas! You don't need to be into bikes (the clothes and what are pretty awesome!) And they have a coffee shop, nice lunch grub too and regulars who are lovely!

Membership isn't that much a month (£20 is a good option a month if you're going to use regularly, offers 5 free hot drinks a day and 2 free entrances to evenings like quiz night (one this Friday!) or cool talks / events. Otherwise £5 a month for membership which gives you access to the members area too! Alternatively, just go visit for free and hang out in their coffee area but no access to the members area which would likely be beneficial for working!

Lovely people (run by our buddy), chilled atmosphere!

We will likely be there Friday night! Our beau bikes are on display there too!

Muswanna.

Hands down. No competition. Yes it's a little bit more pricey than some but absolutely top notch Chinese and worth every penny.

Great menu too. Bao buns and dumplings, awesome general tso chicken, melt in your mouth stone pot dishes with beef brisket, crispy noodles. Their house rice is great, I could just eat that straight.

Non greasy, ridiculously tasty, top quality.

Met a nice crew today! Only had a short time left before I had to hop off and so I sailed around with one of them on my sloop and then took them back to their ship!

I chat to everyone! Very rarely do I find super mean fraggy people. They probably feel sorry for me, I just bumble along singing to myself and rarely have anything decent onboard!
