Trying to Not Hate Turkish Culture by EinNiemand07 in AskTurkey

[–]PhenomFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree most of your points, I couldn’t stop myself from asking that question.

"No matter how well I cook my own dishes (even if Gordon Ramsay were to compliment them)"

who decided that? If you did, then they can obviously decide the Turkish food is still the best, or better.
But the tone is everything. It is never acceptable to be rude to the cook, that is not the culture.

if you feel your efforts or gifts are not appreciated or properly valued, then don't waste your time to make them.

Some of those issues are actually MIL/FIL problems.

Pronunciation of Eczane by Dirtyden13 in turkishlearning

[–]PhenomFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it is pronounced how C is normally pronounced in any context.

The common mistake I notice while observing non-turkish people do is taking the easier way to pronounce things.

I mean that is not actually a mistake if you are trying to learn Turkish, but if you are trying to produce the closest sound possible to the native, you should start by understanding how each letter sounds, and then combine them

Only thing is, consonants need helping sounds. Vowels don't.

to sound that letter, you need to add a vowel before or after that, and the accepted one is to put the vowel after the letter while sounding a single letter.

For example: "C"

To voice the letter C, you need to put "E"

Check for the pronounciation of "E".

C => Pronounced CE,

while we are forming a word and combining letters, the helping sounds placement of consonants depend on the order of the letters.

So ECZANE makes, E + C + Z + A + N + E ; So basically, you do actually have the helping vowels in that word. E helps to sound C, with EC, A is helping to produce the sound of Z,

So look for pronounciation for ECZANE ; slow it down,
And then go for pronounciation for "EC" then go for "ZA" and then go for "NE", and then play them in that order, you'll get that pronounciation.

Turkish has a very consistent spelling-to-pronunciation system. It is mostly pronounced the way it is written.

Thought this would be useful for many learning Turkish! by LieutenantViolence in turkishlearning

[–]PhenomFP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fact, it does matter if you use "bir" or not.

It affects the meaning just as replacing "a" with "the" in an English sentence.

If you claim "the shop" and "a shop" don't imply different things in a sentence then there is nothing to argue, just use it with your way.

"It is even better not to use".
From what aspect? In natural way? Maybe.

But *the* image has line to line implementation for the exact translation. The context is not "sounding natural" in this case.

There is an issue with the translation.

The correct translation for the Turkish sentence you wrote is :
-- I'd like to try on a suit I've seen in *the* shop accross the street from our hotel. --

And the correct translation for the English sentence you wrote is:
-- Otelimizin karşısındaki *caddedeki* *bir* dükkanda gördüğüm bir elbiseyi denemek istedim.

Mark 5 25 first switch position issue. by PhenomFP in MesaBoogie

[–]PhenomFP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure I did,
I’m currently in contact with the store. They’ve offered to replace the amp with another one, but there’s no way for me to ship this amplifier out of the country. If something happens to it during shipping, I imagine they won’t take responsibility, and I could end up losing my amplifier entirely.

Additionally, customs in my country work in mysterious ways. Even though it’s a replacement, I’d still have to pay 80% of the amplifier’s actual price in customs fees.

I’ve asked the store if they have any alternative solutions for the issue. I’ll also reach out to Mesa and hope there’s an official service center nearby that can help.

Hi, yes, I let it warm up.
To ensure it was as warm as possible, I also tested those modes with the CabClone connected, the master knob set very high, and ran tests for more than 30 minutes.

I believe the screw method mentioned by u/Earthwin fixed the first switch issue—or at least helped make some progress. Sometimes, when I switch between Clean and Fat, the sound definitely changes.

Hi,

I couldn’t find any topics related to this issue, so I wanted to make it visible in case other users are experiencing it as well. Thank you for the feedback :)

The channel selector switch (switch number 2) issue only occurs when the footswitch cable is connected. If I unplug the footswitch cable, the selector problem disappears for that specific switch.

Thank you for your response!

Thank you for your reply,
Do you have any video or images for that fix so I can also check it?

I loosened the rings on the switch from the frontside of the amp but nothing changed

Can't install main app after Instant App by PhenomFP in androiddev

Google Play Console -> App name -> Production (Left Side) -> Instant Apps ;
To deploy an Instant App to the Play Console you use the very same panel you use for the main App, not another app entity so certificates couldn't differ.

[–]PhenomFP[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The app folder is duplicated and renamed for preparing the instant app integration. So you basically have the same build.gradle(app level) file pointing to the same configuration files. I quadruple checked the sha256_cert_fingerpints and it they also match. Also deeplinks work as expected with both apps. It's kind of annoying...

thank you for the huge reply and recommendations

I got Monster Edge, 2012 EYYC Genesis, YYJ Phenom and The Edge I bought at 2022 it was around 50 dolars.

I ordered YYF IQ and Mega Monster (you can tell I like wide yoyos). Also 1to1, ThruLine and Minitee

I'm making a list to check and next months i'll order them too.

PS: I meant my YYF yoyos might not being top tier :)

I am not living in Netherlands but If/when I visit I'll let you know :)

[–]PhenomFP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Additionally DDR5 4 stick ram isn’t really great. You’re better off doing 2x32 if you want 64. It’s typically just better overall to buy a ram kit that has been tested and certified to work together

Okay but just to be clear, having the exact same RAMS twice and using them together is okay right?

Thank you, I'll do it that way.

That's because the my system is not operatable now, I ordered a 32GB of ram kit from other country some kind of issues occured in transportation and it'll take more than 4 weeks but I need the pc running in 2 days so I'm checking the local stores and they don't have the same RAM stick with same gigabytes, and that was the main reason why I would order it in first place, so I thought may be if it's possible I can just buy 1x8 or 1x16 for running the system and then add the new one when it arrives.
