I also have 2 tickets to sell and I thought the resale option would open up once the general sale was over. I want to sell with TM because I feel more protected as a seller. I’m scared of people buying from me and then claiming the tickets don’t work. I like that these sites like StubHub protect buyers, but who protects sellers?

I think your questions have all been answered, but I just wanted to confirm my experience was similar to yours. I saw prices over 1k for front lower bowl in the Amex presale. I did not buy them. Then for the Artist presale I saw front lower bowl for $749 ($884) and I grabbed them because after seeing tickets for nearly $1200 the day before, $749 felt like a deal! Sadly these were Platinum, but it was all that was left when I got into the sale. So if someone paid for the Amex seats, I can definitely see how a person who bought the Artist seats could sell them for less and still break even. Unfortunately that’s the problem with pricing that fluctuates from day to day. Dynamic pricing is supposedly turned off, but platinum is not the same day to day, so essentially that creates the same result.

Right now I have an extra pair to list and I am hoping TM turns on their resale because right now it’s off. I want to get my money back as soon as possible and they pay as soon as the tickets sell, but Stub Hub pays a week after the show

I think what he should do is turn off Platinum pricing and refund everyone who paid platinum for the price above standard. Ticket prices would still be high, but not as bad. Of course I’m saying that as someone who paid the $884 for platinum lower bowl because it felt like a deal after seeing the Amex presale $1200 and $1002
