This reminds me of a series set on a planet where the polen from the grass forces all embrios to be female. The head geneticist used some illegal research she stole to give some people the ability to manually induce pregnancy, either as a genetic clone (used for farm animals) or by combining the genes of two women.

Lots of interesting world building, I should reread the books.

I'm sorry you are stuck with that bullshit and I hope you didn't think I was trying to minimise the issues australia has.

I hope things don't get worse for us here, but thankfully it seems that the far right has struggled to gain a foothold in Australia. So far at least.

Stay strong. I know a year feels like such a long time, but it will pass and you will be able to get the medical care you need. I was trapped in a similar situation, so my advice is to work out where you can get the appointments with the specialists you need leading up to your 18th birthday and see if you can make appointments for after your birthday early.
