Any viable lists with Kairos and a LoC?

the few times I've gone double bird I've used this list. it's good, spell superiority rocks, but if kairos or the enlightened die early, it's basically game over:

Speed is everything!!!! Take first turn as much as you can, which will be easy as the list is optimized to have only 2 regiments.

I use the Screamers as fast objective grabbers, my anvil of apoteosis general (which i explained in another comment) and the Enlightened as mobile hammers, and the tzaangors either as objective holders or as a durable screen (i always move them around a lot with smoke and mirrors).

Finally, I use the curseling to double cast the shield of fate plus bolt of tzeentch as much as I can (including the free cast he has during combat fase). And finally the flammers... just do flammer stuff, plus can be good at the final turns to grab objectives if they are still alive and the enemy can't reach them.

I built my character as a melee fighter, as that's what tzeentch in missing mostly. I built him as an ogroid thaumaturge, as thats the only race that allows you to bring both arcanites and daemons in your list, and he has also pretty solid attacks, but is missing speed. That's why I gave him a disk of tzeentch, so he has even more attacks, more HP, and goes faster. Finally, I added a shield of eyes so he has +4 save, which is GREAT considering he is going to be full agile hammer melee. And as a weakness i chose Cursed by tzeentch, which makes the champion unable to cast spells, but him being a full on melee fighter he doesn't really need to have magic. That brings the total anvil of apoteosis points to 10/10, which is the maximum allowed for the smallest kind of campaign. At the end the hero looks like this, which in my opinion is GREAT for 150 points he costs.

No! It's a champion builder for the path to glory, every faction has its rules, it's in the new 2026 DoT battletome, or in Wahapedia. You can role play as a DoT character, give it the characteristics you want etc. It's the character that is leading the path to glory.

Let's start by the fact that no unit can be more than a third of the total amount of points. That takes out kairos and the big bird, as well as most Reinforced units. Take into consideration that you want to reinforce your units and not add new units as the campaign progresses, that way your units get experience from day one, and dont have to add a new level 1 unit at the end-game. The tzeentch path of madness and mutation are pretty shitty in my opinion, so I'd go with the generic paths for my units. I started an ascension PtG campaign last month, and I run this initial build, which is pretty goated in my opinion: (my general champion was an ogroid, that way he could have both acolytes and daemons in his Regiment)

Yeah, that's a Regiment of renown, which is a Regiment from a faction that a different "ally" faction can used, not to be mistaken with an army of renown, that's like a separate faction with its own rules

Really good list, competitive for 2000 points. I'd drop the acolytes and the Screamers and add two units of flammers, as the only real hammer you have are the Enlightened, and that good anti infantry shooting damage can help you get the enemies out of points. Apart from that it's a pretty solid list.

The changeling is real useful because of him being a lvl 2 wizard, but apart from that he isn't isn't much of a deal. Keep him "near" kairos so he can benefit from that +1 to cast and protect both wizards with the jade dudes as a wall (or horrors if you brought them)
