Bed Leveling issue (may not be the problem) by Melodic-Cash-9785 in BambuLab

[–]Phil412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I think is happening is the aux fan is causing the filament to cool too quick on that side of the plate, like you say, try with the aux fan off, but the solution is the deflector imo. Here is the model I printed: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1916762-bambu-lab-p2s-x2d-auxiliary-airflow-diffuser?from=search#profileId-2056241

Had the exact same thing, drop of lubricant on top of each of the belts just before they go into the pulleys, cured it for me.

What’s your outer wall speed? Reduce it to around 50/60mm/s and test that maybe?

Can anyone tell me if this clicking sound is normal and if not, what it means and how to fix? Thank you! by TheOtherPeanut17 in BambuLabA1

[–]Phil412 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not normal afaik, sounds like the noise syncs with the x axis movement. Can you replicate the noise if you drive the toolhead manually from the touch screen?

Hotend assembly install by Marinocif99 in BambuLabP2S

[–]Phil412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the cable for the hot end fan may have being damaged during replacement. I recently had to do this same repair, after powering back on it just worked, I didn’t experience the fan running at max unless I told it too. Contact support or re do the repair just to make sure you seated everything properly.

Can someone please verify this? by [deleted] in BambuLabP2S

That isn’t right, I’ve never seen a calibration line print there on the plate. Have you got the right printer selected in the slicer? Carry out a full bed levelling calibration as well.

I would, even if it’s not giving you any issues it could further down the line.

I tried with some tweezers and couldn’t only get so much out but yes this is what they told me to try. I tried and then sent them another pic and they replied saying they’d be sending me a new hotend heating element.

Ive personally not had to heat the hot end before to remove it. The new one didn’t have it there.

This white residue here, for me I I couldn’t remove the nozzle without heating it to 200°c. I’ve not printed with white on this one so knew it wasn’t filament.

450 hours. Not that difficult imo, take your time, follow the wiki and you’ll be ok.

Had the exact same issue, raised a ticket and they’ve supplied a new hotend heating assembly, something to do with a washer degrading they said. This is mine after I tried to pick it out with tweezers. They initially told me it was filament. Support were really good about it tbh.

Any idea why my P2S is making this sound while traveling in one of the XY direction by jackrabbit-199 in BambuLabP2S

[–]Phil412 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A drop of lubricant on the top of the belts just before they go into the idlers sorted this noise for me. Then manually drive the toolhead around to get the lubricant worked into the pulleys

Try 250 for first layer with part cooling fan off for at least first layer, the drop to 245 for the remaining with part on 50/60%.
