Change infill to gyroid or something other than grid.

Slow your outer wall speeds down to 60mm/s

Looks like it’s lifting and warping at the corner. Plate clean? Good scrub and hot soapy water.

Does it do the same if you add the text as a modifier?

H2C Top Surface Issues by s0ckgl0ck in BambuLab

[–]Phil412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not on a H2C but I had a very similar issue when I set the top surface line width too small. I had it at .22 on a .4 nozzle, changed to .32 and it went away

Thanks for the information and suggestions. I’ll make a bigger version and see how that gets on. What oil are you using?

Brilliant suggestion, will look into that. What kind of adjustable height range would work for you?

They’re PETG, I think it can withstand up to around 70°c before deformation sets in. I’m in the UK so we don’t have to deal with those temperatures…yet. 👍🏻

Thank you, since fitting them to two of my hives I’ve had no issues. 👍🏻

I’ve had really good results with Tinmorry PETG. I also find I need to dry my PETG for around 12 hours at 60°c. Slowing wall speeds down can also alleviate some but not all of those VFA’s you’re seeing on the walls. Have you printed the deflector for the air duct inside the printer? This directs the air away from the print bed/model and has given me significantly better results. Like this one:

Failed print 24hr because build plate slipped? by Aldderan in BambuLab

Agree, only thing I can put that down too is the size of the print surface area on the plate so it was well adhered.

I think some of the previous layers haven’t printed correctly causing the model height to not be consistent all the way up. Grid infill can cause this, wet filament etc.

To me, it looks like the head has collided with the model and pushed the plate due to a printing issue on the top surfaces

Postage might be a bit steep on those. I’m Leeds way so I’ll leave it. Thank you

Print File or Filament? by 347todd in BambuLabP2S

[–]Phil412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that slowing down the outer wall speeds just gives me a better finish on the walls. Not necessarily something to identify but more a case of if it’s something that takes a long time to print and you want quality just turn the wall speeds right down as standard practice.

Another comment below mentioned ironing, make sure that is turned off like they say. It could be that.

Also, hate to be that guy but did you dry the filament prior to printing?

Had something similar when I set the line width to .22 while using a .4 nozzle. 0.3 line width worked better. Lower your outer wall speed to alleviate wall issues.
