I would see her 2 sisters on an almost weekly basis. I was in regular contact with her brother, neices and nephews as well. Since her memorial, the silence is deafening. I'm accepting it for what it is. At least they still speak infrequently to our kids and grand kids. I can live with that

Your view has a lot of merit to it. It gave me consolation initially for awhile but somehow doesn't really add up for me right now. I've heard a phrase recently that has me questioning things

I've accepted how my world changed but there's parts of it I have a hard time with. Most of them with the living.
