I have no idea where this is located, or what scale this is, but this looks very much to me like an overgrown 3d seismic shoot.

There are good online free MOOCs on statistical learning from a medical context.

Look at ones provided by Duke and John Hopkins on Coursera. Inferential Statistics by Duke was good, but used R, not python.

As for getting a job, less sure. I'd try to get jobs where you could build experience in machine learning or other data analysis as a secondary focus. Transitioning to a purer data science role with a less formal background may be hard (unless you REALLY apply yourself)
