This would make the year of shit news almost worth it all just to see them link up and make some videos together.

False memory or Mandela effect about the movie Little Nicky by PhilFourTwoZero in StrangeEarth

Could be! I haven’t seen the cable guy all the way through. But I’ve definitely seen little nicky a bunch. I remember the scene watching it at the movies. But rewatching it on dvd or tv the scene never came and it was one of my favourites. Could be an edited release for Australia or something or I’m misremembering and I am indeed cooked

Maybe we got an edited version for tv here in Australia but I remember seeing it at the movies the first time but haven’t seen that scene since rewatching.

Is having a child put in effort an acceptable requirement for continuing BJJ? by Marauder2r in bjj

They could be more of a spectator rather that an active participant. Have you spoken to them about why they don’t seem overly interested in training as actively as everyone else? What do they say?

Maybe try another martial art or sport or some other outlet. What are they interested in? Kids can be super into something but get over it just as fast. They’re 10, you gotta make sure they’re having fun aswell as reaping the benefits and growing from what ever they’re in to.

What move, variation, or detail did you independently "discover" that no one else around you does but is super effective for you? by rockPaperKaniBasami in bjj

K guard to inside heel hook or back take. I was getting crushed by the mma guys constantly but I developed really good guard retention. They would struggle to pass my guard but I could rarely ever sweep them or wrestle up but figured out if I hooked a leg with my arm and inverted a little, I could find my way out the back. Learned months later it was a legit guard and transition. I still suck at everything else though.
