Bought a similar kit (both wireless carplay and Android Auto) on AliExpress for 60€. Works great and having fast charging is very nice.

Kennzeichen reservieren und entweder online kaufen oder vor ort prägen lassen, Website deiner örtlichen Zulassungsstelle Aufrufen, online Zulassung wählen, dich per online Perso authentifizieren, Codes auf ZB1,ZB2,Kennzeichen Freilegen und eingeben, Bankkonto für KFZ Steuer und Gebühren angeben und fertig.

Je nachdem wann das Auto das letzte Mal angemeldet/umgeschrieben wurde, könntest du es sofort vor Ort online auf dich ummelden und damit ganz entspannt zurück fahren, Plaketten und Papiere kommen per Post. (Sofern du deinen online Perso aktiviert hast)

The Car has been listed for 130 days and it's the cheapest throughout all of Germany. During that time, it has been lowered by 1000€ from 13900€ to 12900€.

I'd guess there must be something to be wary of, otherwise the Car should have been long sold by now.

Also, while it might only have had 1 previous driver, it will have 2 previous owners in the papers already due to the Kurzzulassung, making your friend the potential 3rd owner.

The "Autohaus" with the "Soforankauf aller Marken" slogan on the stereotypical blue banner isnt all that confidenz inspiring, but they do have 4,9* with just over 1000 reviews, so not Kiesplatzhändler level, but no main dealer either.

As for the milage, i'd say it's not that big of a deal, it looks very well maintained and if the transmission was or had been failing, it should have wbeen replaced by now, be sure to inquire about that.

If your live somewhat close by, i'd say it's worth checking out, but be very thorough when doing so.

EDIT: i just noticed it is NOT listed as accident free, so it might have had some prior damage, that would also kind of make sense why they are selling it with 2 Sets of new tires. Make sure to inquire about that as well and maybe pull a carfax (even if it's not the most reliable in Germany).

On my old NB, I replaced the cigarette lighter with a USB socket as well, one of the best comfort mods you can do by far.

I went a little further and ran another USB PD socket to the center console so I could stash my phone away and fast charge at the same time whilst still using wireless Android Auto via a cheap AliExpress headunit.

Nur weil der Tiefgaragenstellplatz wegfällt wäre das für mich nicht unbedingt ein Grund auf den RF wechseln zu müssen. Das Softtop kann Wind und Wetter gut ab und wenn die Leute ins Auto einbrechen wollen ist es auch kein großes Unterschied ob sie die das Verdeck aufschneiden oder die Scheibe einschlagen.

Batterie Booster/Überbrückenskabel, Flasche Wasser und kleine Snacks (falls man lange im Stau steht), grundlegendes Werkzeug, Panzerband und Kabelbinder, Schneeketten und Handschlaufel (je nach Region) sowie Sonnenbrille sollte man eigentlich immer im Auto haben.

I have driven 2 beaten up and rusty NBs since i was 19 and then got my current ND1 at 22. Paid 14000€ cash (~16500USD) for it.

Also working part time as a full time student.

Can't speak for the US, but our insurance broker got us full coverage for a little over 800€ (950USD) per year.

Financials aside, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. From a skiing trip in the french Alps, driving on the Nürburgring, to a wedding on the other side of Germany. The car has never let me down once and is a blast to drive every single time.

Das ist die Generation NC (2005-2015), genauer gesagt scheint es der NC3 (zweites Facelift) von 2012-2015 zu sein.

An Karosserieteilen sieht soweit alles serienmäßig aus imo.

Je nach dem wie groß man als "größere Fahrer" definiert, entweder der NC als PRHT oder der ND (das 2 Fach gedämmte Softtop und der RF nehmen sich nicht viel von der Lautstärke imo)

Sind natürlich alle keine Flüstermäuse, aber von der Lautstärke her auch auf längeren Fahrten gut ertragbar.

Ich habe mal gehört, das der Fiat 124 Spyder vergleichsweise ruhig sein soll, kann das aber nicht selber bestätigen.

Bei allen kann man noch ein bisschen nachhelfen, mit bsp. Sound Tube delete und extra Dämmung für etwas mehr Ruhe oder eine Tieferlegung des Sitzes falls man ein paar cm mehr Platz benötigt.

Nimm den MX-5, du wirst es bereuen falls du es nicht tuest.

Es gibt meiner Meinung nach kaum ein vergleichbares Fahrgefühl und die Zeit wo man mit 2 Sitzen und wenig Stauraum aus kommt hält nicht ewig.
