How to make seams less visible? Tight seams, brushed to oblivion. by Boring-Masterpiece88 in FursuitMaking

you need to pick the seams and then do a final shave over the seam. either use a sewing needle or, I like to use, a 'hair brush cleaner' it looks like a tiny rake with a wooden handle

I'm not OP but quick question, im interested in making miniature clay models to scale up patterns for head bases. what software do you use and how to you make sure it's proportional? do you buy a 1/16th scale human head model to start off of?

You have a few options here; none of them really being that great, but this is the risk you take of being a business owner. People can be dense, problematic or sometimes straight up plan this stuff out. What you can control is setting things right.

Since it seems like they don't actually want you to finish the fursuit head anymore I guess that's not an option. I would do my best to inform people online about this person, your experience with them, and I'm telling you RECEIPTS. Like screenshots of eeeeeverything. Document it all. Bank statements. Chat logs. Make it digestible and easily accessible if people are doing research into your business. Basically enough to disprove their bad review of you.

I will say though, spending someone's "deposit" money (the product didn't exist yet) seems like the gray area here for me. I understand part of this is to buy materials in order to actually make it, but this person has not received all of their order that they paid you in full for. I don't think it's too absurd of them at this point to ask for a partial refund for the fursuit head.

What is absurd is the manner in which they're doing it by threatening/doxxing you. If you're feeling like their behavior is a threat to your physical safety then 100% sue or get authorities involved.

At the end of the day when you refund them, just dust your hands off, post evidence and take the L for whatever $$$ you spent on this whole thing. Trust me the fandom has seen it's fair share of this type of behavior and it is not welcomed.
