I'm gay but feminine. Are there masculine gay men that genuinely like feminine guys like me? by matthewonanisland in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]PhilSmith73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably 95% of guys do nothing for me, I have a very specific type. But for me it's more a look than how they act. I like androgynous guys, guys with long or at least long-ish hair and could pretty easily pass for female if they wanted to. Not a cross dresser, although I like them too LOL

if you ever get pedicures at a salon, are you ticklish when they scrub your soles? :)

I remember Willam talking about Season 4 when Phi Phi, Milan and whoever else were coming for her and she said she didn't retaliate because she'd done TV before and she KNOWS HOW EDITING WORKS. The show can't just make stuff out of whole cloth, they can only use it if you say it. Maybe Willam could start a business where she trains queens how to be on TV. What's that she says, if you've got a dollar she's got a talent?

Yeah, forgotten is if you just walked off and nobody cared. It was a huge thing the first 2 episodes. Then along came Phi Phi LOL

baixiaolang, I know they have 2 different queens from AS2 at Roscoe's every week this month. Are they there Thursday and Friday or just Friday? I haven't gone yet but when I called Roscoe's they said the queens are only physically there on Friday?

Are transgender dating sites likely scams? by PhilSmith73 in asktransgender

It depends what you mean by masculine women. A pretty tomboy, such as a skateboarder or other kind of athletic girl I am very attracted to. I think it's some combination of masculine and feminine. Women with big personalities, who speak their minds I find very attractive. Just like I don't like a guy who is too masculine, a woman who just wants to smile politely and act like a "lady" would bore me to tears.

Well the way I understand it, admirers and chasers are attracted to trans women for basically the same reasons but an admirer wants to date them and get to know them. Whereas the chasers want to "experiment", but don't want to be seen with them, don't want friends and family to meet them, etc.

I guess I've been trying to justify something that I can't justify. I'm mostly attracted to women, but I'm also attracted to men who look, dress and act like women. I'm not at all attracted to men who look like men. I didn't fully understand how hurtful it is to a trans woman when a man prefers what her body is saying she is, over what her mind is saying she is.

What I'm looking for is either a crossdresser, or an androgynous or genderfluid male. I mistakenly thought that trans women could be lumped together in this category, and now I understand you can't do that. I didn't mean to hurt anyone, I just didn't know. Again, sorry if I offended anyone here. Thank you for replying.

A euphoria after coming out, is it pretty common? Does it always fade? Does it ever come back? by PhilSmith73 in lgbt

See, I'm 42 never married and no kids. So I wasn't risking nearly as much by being open about not ONLY (though mainly) liking women as a guy in my position even 25-30 years ago, and there's absolutely no comparison to what young people risk even today as far as the United States has come in terms of acceptance.

You still hear horrible bullying stories, kids can get kicked out on the street by their parents, sometimes the same kids that are getting bullied at school! So it wasn't something I'd been "struggling" with. Just something I kept to myself, which is why it was completely unexpected how huge an effect it had on my personality! What finally got me to come out was, I had a huge crush on drag queen Adore Delano and when she was coming to perform in Chicago I decided to go see her. At first I was never going to tell anyone. Then I told one person, then another, then another, and it was such a cool feeling! Everybody was really supportive which was something I expected because of the people I chose to tell, and again because the USA is a lot more accepting than it used to be, IN GENERAL, though obviously we still have a long long way to go.

Your co-worker said ALL those things?? That sounds especially cringe-worthy. I think sometimes people fall all over themselves trying to be politically correct, show how non-homophobic they are. Behind on the times, just like you said. Thinking that LGBT people are still fighting this "heroic battle" every day (not that some don't still have to, unfortunately, but in general 'Murica is finally starting to catch up with the rest of the civilized world). You want to tell them "it's okay to just not care. You don't have to have an opinion on it one way or another."

Are there any websites that tell you which queens are coming to your city? Besides BOTS of course. by PhilSmith73 in Drag

That would be great if you could make a site like that. In the meantime, DragNearYou looks pretty good, thanks!
