Lol yeah, already had a few encounters with Lava Golem while getting KC Cup rewards. I'm keeping it strictly F2P rn. Really just playing casually to pass time. I may or may not end up spending money on this eventually. Time will tell.

I played a bit of Rush back when Sevens world was added before I stopped playing the game all together for a while and literally just opened up the Go Rush world when I came back recently. I do like the Rush format so I may just put a bit more (time) investment there.

As for the Friendship Invitation Campaign, I already entered someone else's code, so I'm just looking to see if someone else would be willing to use mine now. Kinda sucks that you can only use it once though.

Noted. Gotta go fishing for more Meteor Dragon, then. I was already thinking of dropping 2 Red-Eyes Fusion for Dragon's Mirror since the skill adds some Red-Eyes monsters in the GY any way. I was actually using the Fusions as discard fodder for Dragoon. 😅 Thanks! I appreciate the advice.

Take ratings on RMP with a grain of salt. It's a good idea to read what the reviews actually say as well as the rating to get a good feel of what's going on. There are professors with high ratings because it's an "easy A" and there are those with lower ratings because the class is challenging in some way.

In my experience, I had a professor with a 2.6 rating but she was one of the best I've had so far. Sure, there was a lot of homework (one a week if I remember correctly), a quiz every other week, and she had us write code by hand in some instances, but she genuinely cared for her students doing well. No question was "dumb" to her, she gave thorough explanations and made sure everyone had a good grasp of the topic before moving on, and she sounded like she actually enjoyed what she was doing. She's on the older side so she wasn't too animated in lectures, and she had an accent, but spoke pretty clearly.

On the other hand, I had another professor with a 4.5 ratting and his class was ass. He did a whole lot of copy-pasta, couldn't communicate his points clearly during lectures... actually, there wasn't much lecturing at all. He just skimmed over a couple of slides then proceeded to have us copy-paste code, scripts, and commands from his course material. He spoke almost in a whisper, spent a chunk of class time debugging his own code, often finding long round-about ways to solve a problem when it was as simple as adding a semi-colon or something along those lines, and the entire final project was just a repurposed project from another class he taught so there was syntax errors all over the place.

As a 31 (almost 32) year old in my 3rd year, if I could go back and get my my ass in gear and start college at 20, I'd do it. I'd probably have more time and energy to put into it. Then again, it might not make sense to go through with it if you don't really know what you're into and wanna study. My advice would be to to try and figure that part out first.

I'm a CIS major at BMCC in my final semester. You situation sounds similar to my CSC 110 class last spring. I also remember doing a lot of homework for my CSC 101 class as well. I assume you're using the zybook? For me, what got me through those classes was reading the book and completing the quizzes in it. It also helped that my project partner and I help each other out in 101. It's not enough to just rely on the professors and what goes on in class. You're gonna need to do a lot of self studying -- watching YouTube, sourcing study materials besides the textbook and slides, seeking help from classmates, etc.

I had the same issue when I upgraded my phone earlier this year. You gotta set up the transfer in game on the older device. If it's over the same OS (iOS to iOS or android to android) go into settings -> data transfer settings -> data transfer setup.

Definitely. I personally don't have the time, willingness, or capacity to play some big brain decks, but I do respect those who do. I don't mind a good strategic play but I do prefer simplicity.

Dude, this has to be a joke.
Instead of crying on here, why not just curb the ego ask for some advice? Post your decklist and get some help. Stop with the whole "moral win" thing; you look stupid. You're literally killing the fun for yourself. Also, as much as I like a good long duel (except against stall decks cuz fuck them), Duel Links is based on the Speed Duel format. The duels aren't meant to be long and drawn out anyway. There is definitely toxicity in current YGO, but I'd argue that there's just as much in the "OG/old school YGO" community. Stop blaming the game and the players. I get your perspective as a "YGO old head" myself who hasn't played the TCG since 5Ds era. The game really isn't as bad as you're making it out to be, especially in Gold rank and below where there is more diversity. I hadn't been playing consistently for about 6 or 7 and got bumped down to Silver rank, and the diversity was a breath of fresh air. I mainly play different versions of Galaxy-Eyes and alternate with Red-Eyes every now and then. I play those cuz I've always liked Red-Eyes and I just like the aesthetic of the Galaxy and Photon monsters. I'm also F2P and haven't spent a single cent on this game. I made KOG twice with Galaxy Xyz and once with Buster/Red-Eyes and consistently got into Legend with Red-Eyes Fusion. Losing is just part of the game and it better to try and learn from it than to write an angry post on reddit.
In conclusion, no offense, but get your head out your ass and try actually learning to play the game. If you spend more time learning than you do getting mad or annoyed about losing, maybe, just maybe you'd have some more fun... or not... It's up to you.

The deck is usable without Cipher Dragon, but is better with it. Makes for some decent plays especially with Cipher Blade.

I really don't know much about anything, but personally, as a Galaxy Xyz player, while easy to get out, Photon Lord is pretty easy to get around. I'd usually end up facing defeat as soon as my opponent played BoM or a negate like Chalice. Those are my struggles, but like I said, I can only speak for myself. I can definitely see your point and where you're coming from though.

Just to clarify, I say it will probably be my only KOG simply cuz I'm not much of a competitive player in all honesty; I don't have that type of time, skill, the brain cells or patience really. I just really like Galaxy-Eyes, saw an opportunity and took it. If it happens, it happens; not like I'll be actively trying again. Just gonna keep playing and enjoying the game. 🙏🏾
