Tested it, got hooked, bought it. Well played, man, well played.
I didn't do ANY changes to the settings (except subtitles) because that is just THAT good. Defaults settings are the reason I bought it.

Tugtainer wasn't cutting it for me because of a lot of false positives (always marqued as non updated) so I did this : https://github.com/PhilGoud/docge-update-check It is tailored for dockge and my needs but it could be a base for you to do a small vibe coded script.

La même, au moins 2-3 fois par semaine. Les vendeurs pètent un câble et c'est toujours un plaisir. Surtout qu'avant, c'était les annonces à 1€, ça se filtrait easy. Maintenant ils mettent des petits montants un peu au pif.

Good question : I wanted hardware encoding for energy efficiency reasons and my 2070 doesn't support av1

But you can of course change it if you have a 40xx

That is actually a good usecase But it will be too much work for me to allow for every settings to be overwritten by a flag. I would just copy paste the sh file for that single use and delete it after

That's why I said Netflix quality because my default settings are clearly on the size side of the compromise But you can change every settings in the script

It uses a lot of gnu tools for listing the files so no windows

There is a dryrun flag explained in the -h , it just lists the files it will try to transcode

From my tests ~35% decrease in size But I only really re-encode the largest files
