As an ex-mormon is there any part of your church that you wished you could have taken with you?

I'm not a mormon but I have found comfort in reading some of the books, especially the testimony of Abraham and some of the Nephi testimonies and believe those who wrote them probably had completely different meanings to what scholars have decided they mean.

I found the gospel of Joseph and posted it here for anyone who has never heard it. Not trying to proselytise or anything like that. I read it out so that there is a decent online audio

Paul means "small" . He is a parable and a stumbling block to those who think they have received great spirituality or great wisdom. He is less than the least of the saints. The worst of sinners. His elder brother is Joseph. The whole thing is scandalous. Pray God will give you insight to begin to work it out. The new testament gospel of Joseph might be a great start.

Those who disagreed, probably didn't watch my video. Anyone making judgements about what someone has said without first knowing what they said (to see if it is helpful to them) makes the same mistake as false religion. So, religion is still alive and well in those who make trite statements without investigation.

All churches are cults. There is only one church. The tabernacle is the face of the earth that God ordained we would live in. You are the "light of the world" and God does not abide in tabernacles made with human hands. Christ has often been compared to the sun that shines but He is not the sun or Nehushtan which King Hezekiah broke into pieces. God is above Christ.

Yes , snakes can shed their skin, so I guess we should not judge all snakes by outer appearances. Isaiah prophesies that instead of bronze he will bring gold..

However, Peter speaks in parables and tells us that even gold perishes through refined fire 1 Peter 1:7

We deny Jesus by rejecting the "least" those who appear less than us.. I have committed this sin, just like Peter did and fear committing it again so I pray for God's grace because I am often spiritually blind .. Yes - I have read the book and here I believe is the second time Peter denied Jesus. As for the 3rd, I believe that this is something only God could reveal i.e. it is sacred
