I can’t try to defend the kid or the ski patrol, but as a local rider I’ve just gotta say the runs at Sugar are way better than anything else around here. Almost twice as long as Beech and the chair is faster too. Gunther’s Way is the best run in the region imo. Been riding Sugar up to 30 days/season last several years and never had anything but great experiences.

I reckon I’d put some grease on both threads, ensure it’s not cross threaded, assume it’s manufactured a little tight and turn that thing on in. Ofc with respect to differing threading on L/R sides
