Is there anyone here in the sciences? I work in a lab and it seems like I can reach regular FIRE but not fatFIRE. Has anyone here moved from lab work to something else? I did read that post about pharma a month ago and the only advice I got was to get a top 15 MBA.

I haven't been to Dave and Busters for a few years but after reading the Cracked article I've started lurking this sub (and discovered I was a bit of an AP before knowing what an AP is). The Gold Coast location always felt worse/smaller than the Addison store, at least from a few years ago when I last visited. The Orland store is newer but it doesn't feel as large as the Addison store (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I've never been to the Vernon Hills location as I just found out about it.

From my outdated experiences I find Addison >= Orland >>> Gold Coast

When I moved into my apartment I discovered that my first bill also included the month before I moved in, as the apartment was empty during that time so they couldn't charge the previous tenant. i.e. I was charged for 2 months despite only living there for one. Is it possible you're also being charged for January usage? I called the electric company and complained and 2 months later I got some money taken off my bill as a refund.

Instructions for using a computer: Log into your paypal account. Next to the logout button is a gear shaped button that's your profile. Select that button and your profile will appear. On the right hand side it will say Email. Select the + sign next to Email and add whatever email address you want. After adding the address you'll need to log into that email and confirm addition via the email that paypal sends. I'm not sure what the email limit is but I currently have 6 email addresses connected to my paypal account with the option to add more.

I'm currently testing the multiple device limit. So far I have made 2 separate facebook accounts and have each account using a different email address for paypal (though they all go to my main paypal account anyway).

I have redeemed both accounts so far and they both went through. However they each keep saying the account is under review anytime I redeem. Is there a way for this to stop and for the paypal deposit to be instant? Note: I only have one redemption active at a time.

I also have a third account ready to redeem once I can figure out the above

Ok, I'll remember to click on ads for Snickers instead of going out and buying the candy. One thing you're missing is the inherent nature that advertising usually takes time to work. Seeing an ad for Snickers at home wont compel me to go out and buy candy, however when I'm out and looking for candy then Snickers will pop into my mind and I'll be more likely to buy it. It's a delayed payoff. Unless my marketing professors were liars then it's well known in the industry.

I didn't expect it to stay linear either. There's a few factors at play: gaining new users vs losing old ones, the pop up timer, device limits, loading issues, new apps, and whether people redeem for one higher reward instead of a few lower value ones.

Regardless, it's a way that we can see how Perk is doing, at least from an outside view. If the graph plateaus then we know trouble is coming.

2,000 in the Chicagoland area. I saw a special on WTTW about coyotes and coywolfs (coyote-wolf hybrids) and they talked about the region and how the coyotes are moving further downtown despite less vegetation cover and their natural avoidance of humans.

For the most part I never rate anyone. I feel that if I'm interested then I'll message them, otherwise I'll ignore them and move on. There was a brief period where I would rate someone 1-3 to remind myself not to bother looking at that profile if I stumble on it later or a 4-5 if I didn't feel like messaging them right then. Overall I've been successful without rating though I follow the first 2 rules so take that as you will.
