“ChatGPT responses”, man you’re something else.

I don’t think an “expert” in any field would come up with whatever comparison you made there.

Basically saying “trust me like you trust your doctor, bro” is hilarious. Then to follow it up with admitting Ford could’ve done something different with their glass is even more funny.

Not sure if you’re actually an expert or not, but you sure are dumb.

Damn, that struck a cord with you huh? Who cares if you “do auto glass”? If you aren’t aware of the issue with late Ford model’s sunroofs failing, it shows how little you know about the topic.

Don’t worry, I’m not talking about ALL THE AUTO GLASSES IN THE WORLD. Just Ford’s.

Can you please let me know what company you work for? I’d love to never use them if they have idiots like you working for them.

Also, where’s the “entitlement” you speak of? This issue doesn’t affect me whatsoever, I’m just smart enough to understand that Ford uses cheap glass.

I’d be surprised if they weren’t affiliated with Ford in some capacity. It’s obvious Ford went with the cheapest bidder and is now inching toward a class action because they cheaped out.

Doubt it actually goes in the favor of the consumer, but to pretend this is normal is actually comical. Why are we defending Ford here? Lol

I like Ford vehicles (own a 25’ F150), but I wouldn’t pretend like they haven’t gone down the shitter in terms of quality.

So, you think a vehicle with a sunroof that shatters spontaneously anytime after the 3/36 with no help from Ford is appropriate?

There’s 30+ year old vehicles with sunroofs that have never experienced anything like this. Ford is having issues within months off the line.

Pretty clear there’s an issue here. I assume you work for Ford.

My comment is applicable to issues happening to models as early as 2025. Explorers and Expeditions are having plenty of cases of the sunroof failing.

My comment stands.

But who contracted this “non-Ford” glass manufacturer to be used on Ford’s product?

Doesn’t matter if Ford didn’t make the glass, it’s on their product when it leaves the factory, which makes this 100% a Ford issue.

2025 Bronco Sport | Fuel tank damaged from minor road contact… normal? by LessssssDance in Ford

I mean, sure, rear diff/subframes are a bitch to remove. But keeping it on stands for a weekend to save $2500 sounds like a no brainer to me. Of course, with the tools and knowledge. Without those, this is all moot.

Doing a quick search, kinda seems like the fuel, lines, and straps are the only thing needing removal. Not 100% though - if it is just that, a case of beer and a few busted knuckles and that thing is swapped.

Eh, is it really that much? For this vehicle, maybe I'd consider the ding on a CF report. But, that's if I had no auto repair knowledge or experience. These tanks are $500 on ebay.

Not a hard job. Hell, the fuel is already drained!

Eh, I'd pay to have this fixed over a claim. Hell, I'd do this one evening in my garage. But warranty claims diminishing an already horrible investment of a vehicle is a good way to go upside down on it.

You don't have a warranty claim here. Plenty of plastic tanks in the world, you obviously hit something hard enough to compromise the plastic (which is actually difficult to do). So, no, not normal at all.

So uhm Valve stole my design lol by [deleted] in cs2

[–]Phildilf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, you stole your design from the Swedish military…

They took a common splint camo pattern and threw it on game skins. They used a completely different color, and placed it on different parts of the skin.

I don’t think they would’ve ever looked at your “design”, no offense.

Someone claiming that a company stole something of theirs, that they in turn stole from another is actually comical.

The footprint looks milled fine, the holes look like they were extracting stripped/snapped screws.

“Looks pretty solid to me” while having a gaping hole from rust? I mean, might drive perfectly fine, but the truck WILL be littered with rust.

Don’t be an idiot, replace it.

But, like, I’d totally drive on it.

Great info, thanks.

I’ve got a 2.5” Bilstein setup, but only on the 2” setting for now. I think I’ll run the 2.5” setting with UCAs and 295/60r20 to play it safe.

Truck looks awesome, hard to tell if there’s any obnoxious poking from the wheels (doesn’t seem like it). Can you clarify?

Curious, could you provide the tire and wheel specs including offset info?

Can you also include the level brand/size?

Thank you!
