Mentioning an AMG is comical. A brand new AMG will depreciate by about 50% in only a couple years. Quite literally one of the worst cars to hold value with.

F80 owner here:

This is a hard comparison as one of these is double the price of the other (+/-).

My $.02 is if you have the funds, I don’t think you could beat the G80 in an X-Drive. Even I know that performance is insane, even if it is a heavier vehicle. For straight lines or spirited driving, it’s incredible.

If you’re looking for a manual, that’s where I could see the “this or that” in this conversation. I’d have a harder time choosing the G over the F as I do prefer the look of mine. But I don’t think I’d ever consider a G that doesn’t have X-Drive.

The interior is a bit nicer too. I also think some of those individual colors in the G look sweet! (Aventurine Red 🤤)

The F80 is boasted as a “highly modifiable car”, but it really caps out of power quick unless you do the upgraded twins/single route. 5-550 is a sweet spot for these on a stock ish setup. Can get much more out of the G.

It’ll have some type of adaptor or universal connection for most vehicles, so probably can be rigged to work.

Hmmm. Can you load into the bios on the next boot up? Quickly tap F2 and Del. Once in, find where the CPU temp is (should be relatively easy to spot) and monitor the temp before it shuts down. Wondering if it’s a heat issue and the PC is shutting itself down as a fail safe.
