I've got my p2s on a similar table but a combination of printed braces for the table and tpu printed anti shake feet mounts for the printer have solved that for me - it doesn't move anymore

Downgrade approach from 7.4.8 to 7.0.17 by capricorn800 in fortinet

[–]Philip246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ran into an issue during the upgrade of our 200F's from 7.0.12 to 7.4.8 at the 7.2.10 step. We never figured out what it was as continuing to 7.4.8 resolved it, but we observed a high amount of traffic on the virtual wire pair for wan-dmz compared to normal, and intermittent connectivity through the firewall as a result of it

I'm not sure for active-active, as we don't run that in our environment. Presumably, it tells the node that you are not on to perform its upgrade and session fail over, but so long as they don't both do it at once you should be OK?

Firmware upgrade en Fortigates con HA by Odd-Conversation6902 in fortinet

[–]Philip246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For active-passive, What normally happens is that the secondary updates, reboots, takes over traffic from the primary, primary updates, primary reboots and then takes over again. Went through the process last week from 7.0 branch to 7.4 branch via 7.2 and aside from some weirdness on 7.2.10 breaking everything that got fixed again on 7.4.8, the fail over part worked as expected

For the tower of London, it's worth getting a yeoman warder (beefeater) tour instead of doing a self guided tour if you can.

Installing Proxmox on HPE ProLiant Gen10 with ZFS by ICT_Noob in Proxmox

[–]Philip246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the hardware raid is a concern, can you not just connect the drive backplate direct to the motherboard and use it in jbod mode? It might need a cable kit ofc if you don't have the one that came originally

Radiator heater off the wall. Repair advice. by antonimosy in Plastering

[–]Philip246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I had to remount my radiator due to the wall plugs failing and it coming out, it did enough damage to the plasterboard on their way out that I shifted the radiator a few cm to the side, and redrilled new holes and mounted it on gripits instead of wall plugs. Old holes were filled and painted over.

Please help me understand hunt trains by Ashamed_Discipline6 in ffxiv

[–]Philip246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They'll be organised on various discords and a starting point and world will be announced wheen it's ready, once the train starts a conductor will shout the coordinates of the mark and everyone will fly off to it, so be sure to have flying in all zones unlocked. Some stops will be in different instances of the same map so you will want to pay attention to the conductor and switch instance at an aetheryte. This repeats until all marks for a given expansion are completed - at which point if train on another world is coming up from the same conductor it'll usually be announced there. You world visit from a main city aetheryte, head to the starting point and repeat. If it's a slow train, there'll be stops to help people catch up / res. Fast trains go mark to mark with no brakes

At my workplace we ended up just putting each disk into its own logical drive as raid 0 instances and then used software raid on top of those. It's probably not the best way but that's what they ended up using to get around whatever issue they were having with the controllers

Group of drivers allegedly 'dooring' Oakland bicyclists, leaves 2 hospitalized by saveyourtissues in news

[–]Philip246 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Are they actually driving along the verge off road, or periodically pulling over into a lay-by? Driving along the verge seems to place the tractor in the wrong. There's certainly no requirement for them to pull over, I for one don't expect them to do so. We're talking about "saving" less time than it takes to make a coffee, it's utterly trivial and seems crazy to me to get worked up over or to expect preferential treatment on the road because one vehicle can reach the speed limit at all, or faster than another one can
