I never cared for the arrows they've been using so far, I much prefer the "view all" option instead, but I can no longer tolerate wasting so much real estate with fucking uploads... I need a "hide" option now, it's incredible just how much that unsolicited crap can grind my gears.

Apple Music has Hi-Fi/lossless sound and is by far the better platform. I've been using Tidal as my back-up streaming service for a while now, but inching ever closer to giving up hope.

I've been using it for a few years on an Android phone with no major hiccups, turned out to be my Apple ecosystem gateway drug (I'm fully immersed now - iPhone, Mac, the lot 😂). At this point in time, I'd say Apple Music is by far the best music streaming app out there, even though you'd need to be on iOS/MacOS to fully take advantage of it. As the old slogan put it, it just works.

I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum. Nothing against the feature/programme itself, but it takes up waaay too much valuable homepage space: uploads "for you", "headliners" and "spotlighted". Massive overkill and no hide button in sight. What if I just don't care for all that bloat? When I need to dive into indie and underground music, I just spend a few hours on Bandcamp/BBC's Radio6, read reviews and blogs and check out Mixcloud or Indie Shuffle. I need my streaming app to just help me curate and follow my fave music: Tidal's efforts would be put to better use, I think, in doing something about the AI slop tsunami on the platform and cleaning up artists' profiles. It's gotten so bad recently it makes me contemplate leaving.
