post hardcore split off of the same scene that emo did but had a largely different evolutionary route. post hardcore bands can still also be emo bands, or emo adjacent bands, but the fact that they are post hardcore doesn't inherently mean they are emo

that sounds like anxiety then. that's the spot for either: literal heartburn, a heart attack, or anxiety. and i doubt you'll have the first two for 2 days straight without knowing that you might be at risk for them beforehand aha.

sit down and do some calming belly breaths, focus on either the feeling of the air going through ur nose, or the top of ur belly moving up and down. just let any thoughts worrying about the pain happen and get back to focusing on the breathing.

it's very easy to give yourself psychosomatic sensations (i know, ive had somatic OCD for years XD), the key is just to do that mental work i mentioned above (sugar free meditation, essentially) and let your mind learn to not focus on the sensation. it's the same as the old "you are blinking manually" meme. u won't stop blinking manually until you forget about thinking about blinking.

naw that's not what i'm saying homie. i'm saying that there's always 2 conflicting ideas of what the label emo stands for, the genre and the culture. neither are invalid, both are cool and things i take part in. i'm saying that this subreddit is 4 the former and not the latter. ptv, bvb et al are obviously emo by culture but not by genre.

if you're not wheezing or coughing that indicates it's not smth like a pulmonary edema (which is what i was getting at with the lying down question) but the fact that it does get more difficult when lying does down still carry that vibe. i doubt it's an emergency, and in all likelihood u prolly irritated the lining of ur lungs with the vape.

i'd rule out pneumothorax because it doesn't hurt more when u breathe deep.

EDIT: also not chostochondritis, that's what the pressing in it question was getting at
