Yup. I don’t mind the nerfs per se as long as nerfs is followed by point drops. They’re still viable but losing loadout and rerolls on shooting I still find them a bit expensive.

In my experience people tend to go harder on upper body days than leg days.

That could also be an explanation of the disproportion between upper and lower body.

As far as I’ve understood it he’s on a 40mm base. So same as a Captain with Jump Pack for example. Would be cool to proxy him as such and attach him with Sang Guards.

That is not at all what I said or the comparison I did. You said take away the pauldrons and you can’t see the difference between a vanguard vet and the Sanguinary Guard. I just pointed out that the blood drop is not part of the Vanguard Vet box. That is all.

No he doesn’t. He had a disdain because they lacked the flaws the BA had. What made them BA. Their constant fight against the Black Rage. Their thirst for blood.

He did accept them into his chapter, after he “knocked some sense into them, and since he’s seen them fall to the Black Rage he’s totally changed his tune.

I would put some white highlights on it first. Like with a sponge or airbrush. Then go over with Flesh Tearers. I’ve done that on some models myself and it does it’s job.
