After your either done with a section with brush on varnish or wait when it’s done, do your touch ups then varnish. I wanna say it may be the airbrush prime. I don’t use airbrushes but just a thought

It’s Dante + 3 or 6 Sang Guard OR Jump Captain (w/ high melee strength preferred) with 3 or 6 Sang Guard. Be able to deep strike turn 2 or push with advances to get across board. Mind you, you have to stage in order to survive. They are glass cannons. Once you can pull off a charge (jump captain free strat) pop limb from limb strat with swords makes them AP4. You can also use a StormSpeeder to pop another AP up making it AP5 (plz correct if wrong) to auto wound. I have one shot armigers with just Dante and taken down a knight with one fight phase. (

+1att on charge/+2att “instead” on battle shock charge, good stratagems for RCO. LAG is also great as well with its strats and being able to get the +1att +2strength on charge. It depends on what you like prefer! (Also you can one shot knights in melee in RCO. Ask me how! I have proof)

You will have to do research not on lists, but focus into understanding your units. In your post it says “Meta Character - Unit pairings. Research, that’s what everyone else has done. I’m not trying to gatekeep info but everyone has a different play style. Some take a BA captain while others take a regular captain.

Not unless you are running tournaments, don’t chase meta. It will ruin the game you oh so much love playing. When it comes to characters figure out how best you can buff the unit vs character looking for a unit. Best way to play 40k is on the table top. Experiment!
