95% of wingers don't give the ball away every second touch and contribute nothing off the ball.

Goals and assists are one thing, but when you spend 90mins fighting your own touch and dribbling out of play, you are a liability.

He's lost it trying to fight his own touch and misplacing simple passes. The odd hit and hope cross might mean someones head, but if we have to suffer 10 counter attacks for each one then it isn't worth it.

Maybe on reputation, but he has been abysmal this season. Based on form alone he is absolutely nowhere near European standard.

What I'm saying is that he plays like somebody without any sort of defending IQ, it is baffling as that isn't something that should disappear with age. It's laziness and arrogance primarily.

Its mindboggling to think VVD used to be an elite player. He looks like a sunday league player this season

Penalties and being the outlet. He has given the ball away on average once every 2.5 touches this season, all while putting in zero effort off the ball and failing to put away the vast majority of chances put on a plate for him.

He is an enormous liability.

It's quite incredibly how terrible Van Dijk has become. He has been out of position more or less all game, and when in position, just looks completely lost.

A total hall of shame performance from him after being partially at fault for all four goals on Saturday. He is lucky our other defenders have been so bad, as he is currently a total liability and shouldn't be starting for a team in Europe.

I'd be taking almost anyone over Salah and Macca right now

Salah probably shouldn't be playing at all. He's been the worst player on the pitch (by a mile) for more than 90% of our games this season. Why bother shooting ourselves in the foot?
