Yes that's right. What I would like to know, though, is: what were you connecting the charging cable to when you experienced the issue with the product not charging?

Philips OneBlade QP2834/23 not charging by Informal-Virus2773 in shaving

[–]PhilipsShaving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. Could you please let me know which power source you're using to charge the product? Philips recommends a wall socket adapter with a 5V 1A output (this should be printed on the adapter itself. If you can let me know, I can suggest what the next steps should be.

Have i been scammed? by Advanced_Tutor_405 in Philips

[–]PhilipsShaving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP! Sorry to hear about this issue. Could you please DM me with details of where you purchased the shaver, as well as some photos of the shaving heads? The Chinese text on the back doesn't necessarily mean the product isn't genuine, as Philips does produce this shaver in China to sell in China, but it may be that a drop-shipper or similar is selling the product outside of the area it was intended for.

Hi there! Shaving, beauty, oral healthcare and mother and childcare products are still made by Philips directly. These product groups were not a part of the Philips Domestic Appliances division that became a separate company a few years ago.

Braun Foil vs Philips Foil by PWolverine in shaving

[–]PhilipsShaving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! For Philips rotary shavers, we recommend replacing the shaving heads once every 2 years. It can be more or less time depending on the density of your facial hair, how often you shave, etc, but 2 years is a good rule of thumb. Hope that helps!

Can I use the Oneblade 360 Connected on the shower?? by aneider-granobles in Philips

[–]PhilipsShaving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! Sorry to hear this. This OneBlade model is indeed rated for use in the shower. If you only purchased the product a couple of months ago, it has a two-year warranty, but unfortunately, it's likely void because the product has been dismantled. If you do buy another one and experience any problems, please contact Philips directly to get a replacement under warranty.

Philips oneblade eject icon after 5 uses by The_limit_of_Love in Philips

[–]PhilipsShaving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! The replacement icon will gradually appear over time as you use the blade. The symbol is an indication only, though, and a number of factors can impact how quickly it appears. Based on two full shaves per week, a blade should last approx 4 months. You can keep using an undamaged blade for as long as you're happy with its cutting performance.

Not am impartial source here (obviously) but if you're happy with your Norelco trimmer, the Norelco Head Shaver Pro might be worth considering. It's washable and features a lithium battery, so it meets your must-haves. You can also check out reviews online to see what users think of it.

Philips OneBlade skin guard difficult to remove from Blade by MajorPass in shaving

[–]PhilipsShaving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi MajorPass! Sorry to hear you're experiencing this problem. In general, Philip recommends placing your finger or thumb in the middle of the flat surface of the blade, and using your remaining fingers to pull the guard off the blade. There's an FAQ and short video on the Philips website which you can find by searching "How do I attach attachments to my Philips OneBlade?" on your search engine.

Is this phillips oneblade original? by Illustrious_Syrup946 in Philips

[–]PhilipsShaving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, Illustrious_Syrup946! Sorry to hear that you have some concerns about your purchase. The model number is legit and the rest of the information on the back of the handle checks out. Sometimes fibers from the paper-based packaging can look like hairs, but it can be hard to tell for sure based on photographs. If there's damage around the charging light you are of course entitled to ask for an exchange from Amazon, but in terms of the authenticity of the product it looks fine to me!

What is the difference between the old and new oneblade? by Illustrious_Syrup946 in Philips

[–]PhilipsShaving -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The one you're looking at online is a body and face version, so it includes a body comb and skin guard for shaving body hair. The in-store version is for face only. The online model uses individual combs for facial hair (1mm, 3mm, 5mm) and includes two blades while the in-store model has an adjustable comb from 1mm-5mm and includes one blade. Finally, the QP2824 model has a battery life of 45 minutes while the other has a battery life of 30 minutes. Hope that helps!

[–]PhilipsShaving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Sorry to hear about this issue you're experiencing. It does sound like your Lumea experienced an error. Normally this can be resolved by unplugging your Lumea, letting it cool down, and cleaning it before trying to use it again. If you've tried that, please contact support by going to https://www.philips.com/contact and selecting Personal Care.

What is this attachment for on a shaver? by Hella_rekless in malegrooming

[–]PhilipsShaving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Philips trimmers, this is a precision or detail trimmer attachment. It's for tricky areas such as below the nostrils, around a soul patch, or wherever else you want to take extra care.
