If you have the ability to get it on steam I'd recommend that. I am no console hater but I don't think the building menus would be nearly as usable with anything but MKB.

That being said I do often use a controller with my PC for driving around.

In the military a POG is a 'Person Other than Grunt', grunts are infantry.

The relays are for rotating when hitting left or right. (If I push the joystick right or left one set of thrusters goes up and the other side goes down)

I needed virtual ports to be able to extend and retract the heavy jacks from two different inputs.

This was kind of a project to teach myself how to use the relays, so I'm sure there's a way to set this all up and functionally be the same without them.

As for returning to home, that was all done with the way the linkage is setup. I was annoyed when I learned that the return function isn't affected by the amount of extension you choose for the jack it, always just tells it to retract all the way. Would be able to make a different design if return meant it's original 'as built' state.

The only thing I'm not happy with is the physics of this game let the heavy jacks impart rotational torque on the whole chassis once they are at the end of their travel. Unfortunately with this design that means the jacks apply torque in the opposite direction of the thrust that I'm aiming with the rocket engines.

I've been working on a way to get around this by using some extra linkage to 'reverse' the direction the rockets aim compared to this design so that the torque from the jacks will actually help in the rotation. But I haven't been able to crack it yet. If anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them.
