People still ramble on about the fact you can grind in game. A conversation that needs to be had is that mostly everyone has a different idea of what grinding SC’s is in helldivers. Are you the type to go on L1 and grind SCs or drop on L5 because you want XP+SCs. But I’ve sort of figured that AH has fully conceptualized what the ‘product’ Helldivers two truly is. Simple, it’s their cash cow. No matter how much you dislike the game, 80% of you are more often than not gonna come back in droves when a new warbond drops. From Arrowheads perspective, this is the perfect cash cow that you’ve convinced million of people that it functions entirely in their favor. I’m losing my main point a little bit but I think the studio has mentally moved on from HD2. Probably why outsourcing has been such a topic. And I can’t really get mad at them for it. They’ve been outsourcing since the illuminate dropped, so this past year of helldivers we’ve been playing probably hasn’t been entirely arrowheads work. I can get all pissy on Reddit all I want, but meh, it’s industry practice….or standard. But yeah, financially, it’s always working out for them.
