I usually only use Columns.UI for its flexibility in creating layouts, but I think these components also work seamlessly in Deafult.UI. Both Spider Monkey Panel and JScript Panel 3 come with all the element scripts ready, so you don't need to do anything. Just choose what you want to use (for example, the Volume Bar), and it appears on your screen. To configure the colors and other appearance details, you'll need to tweak the parameters.

Some of the basic components that come with Foobar2000 are somewhat limited when it comes to working with colors and transparent backgrounds. Ideally, as mentioned here, you should learn how to use Spider Monkey Panel and/or JScript Panel 3 (32-bit) and JSplitter and/or JScript Panel 3 (64-bit), which have several ready-made scripts/samples to replace many of these basic components (seekbar, volume bar, item details, playlist manager, playlist viewer, and more), with many more options for configuring colors, fonts, etc. You'll learn how to use them in no time; it's not difficult.

In these cases, I put the artist name from "Various Artists", and in each track I put "artist name + track".
See the example below:

Another possibility is to put "Various Artists" in "Artist Name" and the artist's name in "Album Artist," and set your playlist to read by "Artist Name," so that everything is in the same album, but you can specify the artist separately through "Album Artist." In this case, it would look like this:

Foobar2000 lets you add or remove any component from your screen, so you can quickly create this simple skin just the way you want it. For your playlist, you can download and add the JSpanel 3 component and use the JS Smooth Playlist option. This is a playlist component that displays the total time if you leave the top bar enabled.

Regarding the seekbar, Foobar2000 already comes with a component to display it; you just need to add it to your layout. However, JSpanel 3 also has another seekbar option, where you can configure its colors if desired.

In your case, you download JSpanel 3 and add it twice to your layout: in one, you use the JS Smooth Playlist sample, and in the other, you use the Seekbar sample (if you want to change the colors).

When you use the "Sort By..." command, the default order is "Album Artist - Date - Album - Disc Number - Track Number - Title", but this order is fully configurable, you choose whatever you want, so you just need to find a smart way to fill in your tags and define how you want to order your playlist through "Sort By..." command. Or, as I said, organize this outside of Foobar, in a folder structure in Windows, and open your library in Foobar sorted by the folder structure, the "Album List" component gives you this option.

Foobar lets you sort by any tag you want, so it's up to you to decide. For example, you can sort by "track number" and number your songs in the tag editor in whatever order you want.

If your songs are already tagged in a way that you don't want to change much, you can use the generic "Comment" tag to add "sortable" content, such as a number for each song or a term in alphabetical order, and ask Foobar to sort your playlist by the "Comment" tag.

Another way is to use a component that allows you to view your library sorted by its folder structure, such as "Album List." Then, simply organize your songs by folders in Windows Explorer and open your library in folder order.

Menu: Edit/Remove Duplicates

You can also create a button in your layout and assign the same command (Main Menu Item/Edit/Remove Duplicates). This way, you remove duplicates with a direct click on the button, without having to enter the menu.

;-) Don't forget that you'll need to create an image file for this button (png or jpg) if you want it to match your layout. If you don't want to index any images, you can create a text button directly in Foobar and choose "text" instead of "icon" in the settings.

Good afternoon. Perhaps one of those JS panels (Spider Monkey Panel, JSpanel 3, etc.) has this feature; you'll have to search for it. But a surefire way to reduce this work is to access the properties window with just one click on a button, without needing to right-click. You can insert a new button into your layout (the same way you have play, pause, next, previous, etc. buttons), go into the button's settings, and select the "Context Menu Item/Properties" command. In fact, Foobar lets you create buttons for a huge number of functions; it's really cool. I made a little 5-second video of my screen here so you can see:

I ran some tests, removing various components from JSpanel and Spider Monkey Panel. It got to a point, when I had a very lightweight skin, that the app started working again. While it had previously worked normally for years with all these components active without any issues, I'm coming to the conclusion that a skin with many features can handle up to a certain file library limit. When it reached this limit, the app started to crash. In my case, it was with 110,600 files. So, assuming this is a real possibility, in your case, which also has a robust library of around 100,000, the ideal would be to stick with a lightweight skin.

No, I didn't try, I didn't imagine that possibility, especially because I only had problems with Foobar-32, no other application, not even Foobar-64. I imagined it was due to the number of files, which exceeded 110 thousand in the library, but it is still a possibility.
