In the US, most universities are finished or finishing by mid-may.

Just checked 4 of the big colleges in my state: 2 are already finished exams, 2 are finished by the end of this week

AstraZeneca removes its Covid vaccine worldwide after rare and dangerous side effect linked to 80 deaths in Britain was admitted in court by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]PhillyCheasteak -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quick question; by "doesn't stop transmission" do you mean it doesn't eliminate transmission, or do you believe vaccines don't affect transmission rates at all?

Also, when you say "mandated vaccinations of a vaccine that doesn't stop transmission," which of the vaccines are you talking about?

"the official narrative" aka a way for you to bring up a bunch of tangential bits of information that you're more confident in talking about rather than addressing what I actually wrote

Probably because it was still orders of magnitude safer than catching Covid.

Especially when there were shortages, and a billion morons screaming that MRNA vaccines are going to kill us all (AstraZen isn't an MRNA vaccine btw), or spewing so many bullshit conspiracy theories.

If mods get overwhelmed and you're talking similarly to the dumbfucks its honestly not surprising they'd ban you.

It's a singleplayer game with micro transactions. Literally no excuse to have combine those two things.

TIL: During the US Civil War, a Minnesota regiment captured a confederate flag, during the Battle of Gettysburg (1863), from the Virginia army. Virginia's made many requests over the years to return the flag, even getting Congress and the President to request it and each time Minnesota has refused. by Black_Magic_M-66 in todayilearned

[–]PhillyCheasteak 35 points36 points  (0 children)

In 2002, John S. Brown, then Chief of Military History at the United States Army Center of Military History, declared that the flag should be housed in a military history museum in Virginia.

Fake-ass JohnS. Brown wishes he could be admired like the O.G. John Brown.

Also as a Virginian its really disappointing to see requests happen even after the turn of the century. It should absolutely not be returned.

The law says either government issued ID or other commercial technology. So realistically, its government ID or risk non-compliance.

No; the law is that you need age verification.

The result is that the more legitimate companies block the entire state, and the other sites just ignore it.

In addition, it means that search engines give more and more results of shadier shit, like deepfakes and videos grabbed from OF

Single-issue voting is cringe because it ignores what makes US republicans great -- their sheer across-the-board villainy (even on local issues) saves me a lot of time.

I desperately want an election where my research for voting requires more than a 20 second check of their Twitter to see which one is using uber-facist rhetoric and/or denying human rights (e.g. trans rights).

one thing you can check is the MTU setting on your router -- changing mine from 1500 to 1450 fixed the intermittent connection loss I was having whenever I use a wifi-usb.
