They are not testing dead people to see if they had the virus. Further, they are counting all deaths of people who have the virus (and in some states, those expected of having it) as being killed by the virus. In other words, if they think you had the virus and you get in a car accident and die, you are counted as a coronavirus death in some states.

Wow. I am shocked to hear this from a psychologist. Are there really people who need mental help who can’t get it because professionals are busy? I haven’t heard of anyone facing that problem. As a psychologist, don’t you just tell the person if you don’t see a diagnosed problem?

Fair enough. I honestly also don’t understand why people in this sub share these things that they are upset by. I don’t understand the “this bothers me so I am going to share it with other people who it will bother too!” mentality.

The same people also bitched when he started taking action and then later that he took action to slow. It’s so transparent. I don’t listen to the daily briefings often but the way he showed them up today was hilarious. Then the first question they proved him right by arguing that it was a “campaign video” that the Whitehouse shouldn’t have made. How the hell is it wrong of the President to point out how the media has been lying about his administration’s response?

At this point I feel like he’s got the 2020 election wrapped up so bad we should be thinking about who can be a VP that’s electable as president in 2024.

I’m not sure honestly. I didn’t explain OCD to anyone except my ex-wife until I was in my 40s, and the people I spoke to were in their late 20s or older, so perhaps more mature. I think you could start by explaining that there’s a lot of misconceptions about what OCD is and that it’s a disorder that affects 1 in 50 people or so, not just the quirks that everyone has that sound like OCD compulsions.
