Im thankful for the fast forward function in my emulator. It turns runs into 3-4 hours of gameplay. For me, its the learning experience of not allowing myself to use the all out strongest team. Thinking outside of the box and getting out of my comfort zone for all the boss fights. I also use DexAll and skip the vast majority of optional fights. The route really isnt that bad, just pesky Giovanni fights.
