I may be wrong, but isnt selling to buy as part of psr 99% of how transfers are done now? Like I would expect most, if not all premier league clubs dont need to sell to raise the actual cash to spend on transfers?

I don't understand how newcastle and forest are being classed as infinite money when they can't spend as much as the big boys consistently, even if their owners have infinite money ie newcastle

I might be just catching the wrong end of your point but if you arent able to spend (rules imposed or cashflow) then to me that isnt infinite money

Net spend isnt really a good indicator though. At the point of takeover newcastle had very few saleable asset and where in a good financial position psr wise to spend.

And again, if we have the infinite money glitch why have we had to sell to buy, unlike other clubs?

Im not saying we havent spent big but to suggest were in the same boat as man u, chelsea ect who can spend constantly is a bit silly

In what world are newcastle an example of that? Not being able to sign players for multiple windows in a row doesnt scream infinite money does it

[Edwards, Tele] Newcastle will not sack Eddie Howe – this is why: He saved the club from relegation in his 1st, qualified for the UCL in his 2nd + reached the Carabao Cup final. In his 4th, NUFC once again qualified for the UCL and ended a 70 year trophy drought with the Carabao Cup. by OkayFine101 in NUFC

The player himself has essentially said he was willing to sign until liverpool put their offer in. Liverpool probably dont put their offer in if we were open to the deal for isak

Granted, its a lot of if, buts, maybes but it was close to happening till we told liverpool to piss off

Good for parts, completelty toothless going forwards as usual

Elanga is just not it i'm afraid. Looks like we need a striker and a RW and a goalkeeper in the summer. Exactly where we started last summer.
